...Okay. I think people really don't understand Lauryn Hill nor do they give credit for the unplugged album which was genius without beats. There is nothing really tragic about taking a break and reexamining things. In fact Lauryn Hill is a more rounded artist without any pop strings attached and she IS BACK. Lauryn Hill can easily attain her previous success in a second. But I digress...you know the media permeated that response from B by asking her that stupid question. I really wish Lauryn Hill would come back with some music and shut up the industry and the media--- COME ON, MS HILL!

Any studio music Ms Hill puts out -- the people will get it. her last album was an UNPLUGGED album! Imagine it as a studio joint with beats--- FIRE. Columbia should know that!

IF THAT IS THE CASE, You hear that Kweli? BLACKSMITH RECORDS WOULD LOVE TO HAVE HER I BET. Even Jay at Def Jam should get at her. She needs to get out of her deal. Her and the Fugees both.

I agree with the one who said they'll take ANYTHING at this point. I heard Clef was supposed to do a "carnival 2". I would love to hear that. I would love to the L-boogie album or a FUGEE record. I still can't believe they haven't moved on "foxy". That could be a summer hit. I guess we'll just have to enjoy "hipsdontlie" and WAIT. lol. hmm.....far as cartoons... i'm an old school looney tunes fan. later! www.myspace.com/jun6

not a good look, L. a lot of those people in the audience and the peers your performed with LOVE you. You have such a powerful influence and you have to be careful what you do with it and USE it while you still have it.

I gotta give it to Mary... for good, real, emotional music, honesty in her voice, changing the face of soul music and most importantly longevitiy...she's been in this giving soulful sounds for over 10 years. Plus i'm a huge huge fan. I would tie her with Lauryn Hill but since i can't vote for two...gotta give it to the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul. All those artists on the poll got love for or has worked with Mary. LIVING LEGEND.

Well, first of all, nobody really knows. What i DO know is that the Fugees music sounds very refreshing and I can't wait for a Fugee album whenever it comes. Lauryn herself said it was therapeutic and I think it is also therapeutic for hip-hop and music. Everybody knows in a group you become the group...so Lauryn Hill does Fugee music with the Fugees, but as solo artists each one of the members personas stand out more so the solo album will be pure Lauryn. While she's with the Fugees though, her lyrical messages are still powerful! Listen to the words she said on "wanna be" (take land back. demand it!) and "take it easy" (matthew, andrew and peter them)... Anyway they are truly on the same page far as being conscious emcees. I guess what I'm saying is all that matters is the music and the music will be beautiful no matter what's going on behind the scenes. They all take creativity very seriously. And thier creative energy together is what makes the Fugees the Fugees.

I definitely want "what about the baby" because folks loved "911" and a sequel video would be fire! "riot" is just plane bananas and should definitely be released eventually.

i would say that "what about the baby" or "riot" should be released... "touch your button" could make noise too.
