yeah... Lauryn is in a class all by herself. That's the wildcard right there.
You got chicks that rap and sing but they curse too much and talk about sex... You got dope female emcees that can't sing (and they curse too much). And you got dope vocalists that can't really rap. LAURYN, COME BACK! HIP HOP NEEDS YOU!

will ever become an official single? I mean i just know either of those would become hits if promoted. And does anybody have any new info as to what's going on in the recording process. I know clef and lauryn are out doing separate shows so i wonder what's going on with lauryn's solo, the fugee album and clef's carnival 2. Just thinking out loud. In the meantime i'm playing "foxy" and "wanna be" like crazy.

now i wouldn't go doggin L.L. just cause he had beef with Fugees. L.L. is still a hiphop icon. we all know L.L. is the opitomy of a battle emcee. but i got mad respect for Clef for "what's clef"..i loved that line!!!! i never heard "rosta imposta"...anybody know where i can get that? that WHOLE beef was beautiful because it was in the spirit of hiphop and it ended peacefully! "ain't nothing like hiphop music!!"

There is only one Lauryn Hill. Case closed. Comparisons to Ms. Hill go way beyong a husky vocal. It's the passion, the lyrical content, the creativity, the emceeing. But I'll check shorty out.
