I wouldn't really trust someone who pretends *he* knows how to read the bible.
I'm not a big religion fan to start off with (I think religion sometimes leads to extremism and dogmatism). And he changed Lauryn Hill so damn much..I dunno, I just hope she still can be objective about everything he says..
To me, someone who pretends he holds the truth is not necessarly someone I'd trust and I'd rather see Lauryn without him around her to be honest
I dunno this is just my opinion though

yeah well... someone who says they understand the Bible is ok by me. But if they claim they are the only ones who know the Bible, then I have some problems. I just want to know about this guy. What church is he a member of? you know, those kind of things. it makes me nervous.

are you people serious?!?! Lauryn Hill has 4 children by Rohan Marley (her husband). I doubt she is screwing brother Anthony and I doubt she does EVERYTHING he says. Has she said that? Why do people believe everything they read. Why don't you wait for her album to come out and see what she says. That's why the journalism and media business is so lucrative because everybody believes everything that's printed in black and white. There's nothing wrong with having and WANTING an understanding of the bible.

i totally agree! i WANT everything to be fine. and what's weird is that the "cult" claims are coming from very secular sources. so what they may see as a cult may just be a radical christianity. i never said anything about sex, in fact i never even thought that. not sure where that came from

I'm just saying I'm not a big fan of religion but hey if it works for her and if she's not taking it to the extremes, then it's all good. To each his cup of tea. The only thing about religion usually is that there is no grey area, it's usually all black or white...But then again it also depends on how the person interprets it.
She basically explains what she went through with religion - while she could explain it with psychology or whatever really. That's just a way she found that worked for her in order to understand life, understand who she is and to evolve as a human being.
But again, most of the things we know on Lauryn is based on speculation and/or so called "sources". So yeah we, myself included, could all be wrong I guess.
