When this song came on it reminded me so much of Lauryn. I really thought it was her. She is riding Lauryn nuts hard. I like the song though. What do you think? www.supload.com/listen?s=IAZ71WRRP17S

I don't think it sounds like her. The song is just okay, nothing special. The only thing is that the video reminds me of the no woman no cry video with the fugees and stephen marley.

There is some resemblance in the tone, style, voice..........but nothing, no matter how hard they have tried (Amy Winehouse, Estelle and now Jasmine Sullivan) nothing or no one has topped the original;)

the fact of the matter is Lauryn Hill is such a rare find: dope emcee, soulful vocalist, postive lyricist that barely curses, if at all...
so now that she's missing in action, we are search for someone to fill that void... unfortunately if they can rap, they can't sing, if they can sing, they can't rap, if they can rap and sing, the content is negative or too profane-- Lauryn is just Lauryn-- unmatchable...
We just need the real Lauryn back making great songs again, because hip hop and music itself needs it!

They are totslly different. No one can ever compare to Lauryn. However, lets not over lok Jazmines talent. The girl can sing and has written some pretty decent songs. I do not understand why we have to criticize and attack any artist they compare to Lauryn. yes it is ridiculous.....but the girl can also sing.

She just copied Lauryn's way of singing in one song and everyone around were likely to say she's a new Lauryn. Chill people, she's nice, her songs are pretty fine, but she's not Lajuryn and never will be

Its a bit like Estelle the 'American Boy' singer, when she sang 'No substitute love'. It was very obvious she was imitating Lauryn's style. By coincidence, the song 'no substitute love' was produced by Wyclef and Jerry wonder. It was like that was the goal, to be like Lauryn. The video clip was like a duplicate of lauryn's 'Doo Wop That Thing'. Watching the video and hearing the song was like a flashback to '98 when Lauryn shocked the music world with her talent, but this time it was just plain shocking in a bad way. If you haven't heard the song or seen the video its a must. There hasn't been anyone trying to copy lauryn more than this woman on this song. She doesn't reach the levels that Lauryn does, but she tries www.youtube.com/watch?v=mD1Q9otfZ-0
