Review lboogie on Laurynet:
guys!!!I'm baaack!!!What a great show!!!I really have no words to explain the power of that woman!
first of all...the show stareted with an hour late,but the opening act finished to sing at 9.30 PM so..it wasn't possible ms.Hill to start on time...
There was the chair as usual and I was just in the front row before a group of people who were in the back went to stand in front of us just under the stage so then started the problems!'cause police said that the show couldn't start with people there there was security problems,but at the end the show started and I stood up on my chair(as everybody did) so I could see everything perfectly!....bad thing happened...'cause there was a completely fool man who went on to tell us to sit down and suddenly he flung on the people behind me in the second row,you could see chairs flying!a girl has been hurt and a guy had a chair on his haed...I'm really sorry for them 'cause they lost the show just because a fool!!(all this while the band was playing)then Lauryn came out.She was so beautiful and so damn at her's best!!she started with Heathen..and what else can I say...she did more or less the same songs of the other shows....there has been a special moment near the end of the 2.5 an hour show..there was a fan with a (I don't know if it's correct this word)poster it was writte on it "you are our freedom time" she saw it and with a silenced crowd she recited,no sang but recited!,all freedom time...it has been an touching moment...the encore were Killing me softly,Everything is Everything Will you stil....,Loose Myself(which just me,my friend and other two guys knew..sad thing!),doo wop..and the end was so great she didn't want to go away she said hallo more and more times and she left and she came back to say thank you and goodbye....I really can't explain the great show it was,I can't explain how she interacted with the crowd and how she was so happy and comfortable on stage and how she conducted her band..great really great!!!!
I think I'll let you know by my videos and photos,but I can't post them before sunday 'cause I used my friend camera,mine is broken!
ps.Ms.Hill's new album "Call me Ms.Hill"will drop soon....

Lauryn Hill does NOT have a new album out called Call Me Ms. Hill.
She has NEVER said this in press, Columbia has never said this.
MTV and VH1 even reported that she was ABOUT to go in the studio and began working and hasn't even done that.
Please stop saying that there is an album named Call Me Ms. Hill because that is just not true at all, and this fake information is spreading to fans who are NOT in the know and believing it.

HI! I'm lboogie of laurynet..both the reviews are mine..the second one is my blog page on windows space....and I write just to say Reality that I don't say something that I had created in my mind when I talk about the album..if I wrote that maybe I talked with someone who told me that...maybe...people of laurynet knows that I don't like saying things just for the pleasure to talk,mostly if I know that the information is completely fake,but this time I'm not sure at 100%the information is fake..I'm one of the oldest fan of Ms.Hill so don't you think I don't like creating fake illusion to other fans?!?

Unfortunately that information is completely and absolutely fake. It was a lie created by a fan on wikipedia.org which is an editable online encyclopedia. It began as wishful thinking. Unfortunately many fans began thinking Wikipedia was a trustworthy source when it can be edited and you can type in anything you want just by clicking edit. This false information was allowed to be left up for more than a week and unfortunately it's spreading like hotfire.
Lauryn has not now or ever said there will be an album. In her latest interviews she said she was still working on songs. On VH1 and MTV they said she was about to go in the studio and began working AFTER the tour. The tour isn't over, so she hasn't begun working on anything.
And certainly she is not self-absorded and silly enough to name it something as trite as Call Me Ms. Hill. After brilliant names like Blunted on Reality, The Score, and the Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, Call Me Ms. Hill seems trite in comparison.
My complain is not with you lboogie. Rather with the disinformation and the disservice it does to fans of hers who dont know that that was a lie. They get their hopes up and Lauryn might do a backspin and never even release the album. It sets up disappointment. It's better to wait till there is official word from her, her label, or a credible news source. Not an editable database like wikipedia.

ok listen..this is what I'll say:my source ISN'T Wikipedia!!!absolutely!and it's not old!!I'm not used to spread rumors or fake informations....maybe the title can't be the final one,but I can say that there is an album or this person was quite wrong informed and I would find it strange...saying that...we'll see who's right...I really hope that's me...but we'll see...

Hi everybody
I felt I could contribute to the concert review too, even though lboogie said it all and I completely agree with her. The show was PERFECT! Definitely the best concert I've ever seen. I came all the way from Slovenia to Lucca just to see her, but you know it was all worth it. I simply have no words to describe it, I can't. It's like there are no appropriate words to do it.... it's above everything.
And I have to admit she surprised me sooo much. Of course in a positive way. In fact in the last 2 years I haven't been following Lauryn's work and music a lot. And that's why I still had that old picture in my head of her performing alone, sitting with her guitar, hardly ever talking, serious, ... Basically that is my memory of her concert in Pisa (Italy) in 2001. Only now I see how much she's changed. I'm telling you people: to me this show in Lucca was a dream come true! Also because 2 years ago in 2005 I meant to see her performing in Lucca (I had the ticket, room booked, train ticket,...) but then just a few days before everything had failed.... Probably I wasn't supposed to go there.
But this year I made it and her amazing show proved to me that she's still my favourite artist.
Like lboogie said there were few people who knew her new material, I personally had checked Lose myself only a couple of weeks before (you know the excitement before the concert forced me to seek a little for some new material). But it didn't matter because the crowd was dancing all night long and seemed to appreciate her new style. I was dancing in the 2nd row and almost forgot to take pictures. I did take some of them at the end of the concert, but they aren't so good. These one posted here are much better.
And yeah I also saw the guys with the poster saying It's our freedom time - when Lauryn saw it she sang freedom time alone without music. I was like ...uhmm I can't explain, it took me to another level or dimension.
Before I finish: just a word for her band. They were all brilliant!!! They made me "go crazy" with their vibes. And I have never seen sooo many people on stage.
OK, basicly that's it.
