That live performance is so like Lauryn in the way she sends chills down your spine just using the same 5 words. She sings with her heart and soul...just beautiful

I think se seemst to be a little unstabile, but her voice is great, but no Lauryn!

Oh yeah...no Lauryn for sure! No one can argue that, but i love the way she is acting the way she wants. In interviews she is being herself and she's not scared of that. Out of everyone we should understand that you fall in a trap when you cover up your true identity. That was Lauryn's biggest battle...searching for acceptance, but she then realised that there is no need to be accepted in a society that forces individuals to replicate each other. Amy is a breathe of fresh air and a real character. There is nothing fake about her.

I love Amy and her music. She's not like the rest of today's lame vocalists. Her music comes from her soul and it can be heard easily in each of the tracks. I don't know which album I prefer listening more. Both are great.

I just wanted to post some stuff on this thread, since i know everyone has their own opinion on Amy. I didn’t really know her early music before fame or how hard she worked to make it in the music industry, until I did more research. It was a little like Lauryn when I first heard of her in Sister Act 2. I had no idea about the Fugees until I started to do more research. These clips are of Amy performing songs of her first album in 2003 called 'Frank'. She had a lot of success in the UK but not much internationally. It's live at the AOL Sessions. Now tell us what you think...

Amy Winehouse has a brand new video for her latest single "Tears Dry On Their Own," off Back to Black. Peep the vid shot and directed by David LaChapelle (not to be confused with...) on Hollywood Boulevard.
enjoy!

Song's great but the video's dull. I don't like that there's no any action in it In Sister Act 2's 'Ain't No Mountain High Enough' version even Lauryn sang some verses
