I'm with you! I HOPE it's true, according to the second link I gave and a few other internet message boards - people who have been attending Legend's shows are hearing a tape of the "So High" remix featuring Lauryn...I guess John has been playing it for people that come to his shows...like I said, the Access Atlanta article said that the remix featuring Lauryn would be included on the re-packaged version of the "Get Lifted" album ----however, I am still pessimistic because if they were going to release a remix featuring Lauryn, it seems like there would be more promotion for this "re-packaged" version of the album coming out on the 30th. With record label politics, who knows???!!!! It is already so close to August 30th, and we've only begun to hear about this in the last few days....i dunno --- something's fishy -- all we can do is keep our eyes and ears peeled, right??

here's her rap verse :' your so conscious and self aware i'm connecting to you, i hold you back and you express pure ectasy, its more than just sex the 2 me, ? you take me there i'm pretending to be unaffected you intended to be respected i commend you beau(?) as you don't fear being rejected since you approached me, my love never remained intimidated glad you did, cause once you came you got much more than anticipated and its true i've got the mind of a genius and everytime we kiss we feel the magnetic feeling, and thats so clear i think its something to witness your vulnerability the defenition of a real man to acknowledge how he feels for me and i'm fascinated with your manhood and experention your transparent language and how you take on the situation and i can see it in your saying, the air, and i love the texture of your hair statute black and beautiful like classical architecture, yeah

I just listened to the link...i listened to it back to back a few times....i think lauryn sounds incredible vocally - which I am ECSTATIC about! However, the rap at the beginning could've been tighter...though her honesty and lyrics were more important than the cadence of the rhyme. Overall I give this version of the track a 9.0 out of 10 on my satisfaction meter!!! peace

WOW! I'm left in amazement. The song was good, I mean I don't think it was the greatest song in the world, but just the fact of Lauryn in it, and stepping back into the game with an actual son that will be on the radio and on an album is just so incredible. Considering she hasn't been in the limelight, and hasn't done a studio album in how long?(7years) Her vocalls were good, I give her a 8 out of 10 vocally, and the lyrics were good, I think she could've been more....raw and more philosophical like the Miseducation and like Unplugged. I give the song a 9 like the entry before stated. If you all haven't thought about it, as I've observed other artist do, once they do a collaboration, most of the time when the single has been exposed after a few months and the artist releases a new one, that usually means that the artist who was featured on the single, was useing that single for exposure for their next LP. Meaning I think Lauryn's new album is closer than ever( I can taste it) LoL. My perdicition, we should expect the album to drop before or at the begining of 2006! Let's hope and pray people!!!! Thanks to whoever posted the single!
