Lauryn Hill cancels Chicago appearance

Singer Lauryn Hill, who stunned fans last weekend with an apparent meltdown in Atlanta, has canceled an appearance at Taste of Chicago.
The Mayor's Office of Special Events said that Hill's manager blamed a scheduling conflict for her decision to bow out of the festival's opening night, the Chicago Tribune reported. Rapper LL Cool J will appear in her place.
Hill reportedly arrived two hours late for her performance at the Vibe MusicFest in Atlanta, insisted that everyone leave the back stage area or face the wall and then stopped after a few songs. She is also said to have publicly accused her band of playing off-key and made them start a song over again.
