This story is still unfolding; but when I see the pressure to perform trying to fix oneself for society this is so sad.
Though I don't think she committed suicide, there are signs that lead me to believe that there is a possible chance. She
was definitely a perfectionist, and her goals and the pressure to always look, act, and smile all the time is quite unreasonable.
I have many thoughts but will deal with this a little later.
But I will say when you have all the trinkets(brain, beauty, and body), and have been relegated to a goffer, it can be depressing. I mean she found herself
on the other side of the camera. She asking the "high" achievers about things she would expected to have been asked of herself.
Entertainers crave and work their butts off for recognition and attention and when they get it, they want to determine when and where they want to receive it.
You were willing to do anything to get public recognition and when it come at a steep cost; nearly all of them want you to respect their privacy. This is why I think
they should count the COST. Let's face it, when you are counting on people who you don't know, nor do they know anything about you except this fake narrative that has been given for public
consumption TO buy into whatever you are selling, looks, body, singing, art, etc.
Part of Chelsie problem was how she would be received when she was older and not so beautiful anymore. When I look at the lip that appear to have been filled, the gap was filled her teeth, cheeks looked different. It's hard to tell where Chelsie starts and the surgeries ended. However, when I looked at all the ones that came before her who keep trying to get lighter, skinnier, weave longer and blonder it makes make me wonder what does it take to be accepted for who or what you are? What was sacrificed for this level of accolade or achievement? You always have to pay the price, sooner or later. No one get out of jail free.
I remember reading somewhere that when a black person get multiple degrees
they are thought of as a well educated SLAVE. PICTURE THAT WHEN THE CEILING DOES NOT BREAK, BUT YOU DO!
