Just a thought - there are some scary things been written here that are very sad. Human beings are human beings - chosen people, skin colour, bla bla its a load of rubbish built on a lot of evil. What really happens when a persecuted minority takes power ( which is what some people seem to be talking about rather than equality). What happens is if you not careful you get an Assad and Syria. God things need changing but surely it's important to make sure the struggle doesn't turn you into that which you so despise. Maybe exploiting an us vs them strategy appeals to the masses very effectively but once that is fed and encouraged how do you remove IT from the population once the objective is complete.

Very good point. That what has happen throughout history, division has always incited wars and hatred toward each other. Dr. King understood this better than most. His love was for humanity and his plea was to the higher nature of man. That why I have a problem with a lot of the filth promoted by rappers continuing to ignite this hatred toward authority and each other and at the end of the day; more deaths and separation. However, I am not ignorance of who are the promoters of this filth and their agenda. When you have the music industry investing in private prisons then approval of this garbage will continue to fill up the prisons that they have already purchase and on the other end. Nor am I ignorance of the role record companies play in an artist being allowed to perform anywhere for that matter. Just like they withhold an album that they don't want the public to hear; this same power is available to control where that artist perform. At the end of the day it all propaganda because most of the record company owners goes back to Europe who once own Israel before this statehood of Israel in 1948. It call the power behind the scene. Whenever any race consider itself to be superior to others, pride set in and self exaltation is on the throne. Now those who were pleading for equality becomes the very one to oppress others. Is this not the theme of the world today? They have sought out the one with a voice to influence the masses and used them to support their agenda. When you reflect on the history of wars, they were intentionally started to promote one agenda: control, power, greed, and superiority. When will we learn?

No thank you. As I've stated before, this is not Black people's fight, especially with the oppression that indigenous Black Palestinians and Black Israelis and Black Israelites endure. Nope, the bible clearly states who are his chosen people. There is nothing being exploited on my end.

You have a lot to learn. I quote the bible when needed. I am not someone who likes to spout half-baked and often incorrect information. The chosen ppl are BLACK. The only thing hidden in plain site is your ignorance. That what I am talking about blind leading the blind both will fall in the ditch. Jesus tell us that God is a Spirit and those that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and truth. Now His word is truth. Yet you quote the bible when needed like Adam lives in theory, I guess that make the bible a lie. Now is that half baked or misleading to those who never read the bible. Did Eve get turn out one day and think she is bisexual. The bible never states this; yet you sing as though it's the gospel and now you are going to help your black people. Race has always been the dividing line and that is not of God but the devil. How long will thou paint those lies within thee Oh Jerusalem! Nope, try again. I know your afflictions and your poverty--yet you are rich! I know about the slander of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan. The children of your oppressors will come bowing before you; all who despise you will bow down at your feet and will call you the City of the LORD, Zion of the Holy One of Israel What I suggest you do is read the bible a bit more, get a bit better in comprehension and pick up a couple of books: The Blessing of Africa The Ancient Black Arabs and Jews Kebra Nagast The Apocrypha The Secret Relationship between Blacks and Jews Vol I-II Jews Selling Blacks You need a massive overhaul.

And what then ? What when the children's children of your opposers feel the same and come brandishing the same ideals at your children's feet?
This is a promotion of an ever increasing cycle of violence. In a world where everything is documented each cycle becomes more violent.
How do you stop a cycle of evil starting less than halfway through one revolution ?
Will things be better after a complete revolution?
I don't think so.
America needs to pay its debts to its own people, maybe the debt is unplayable. No one seems to be able to even talk about it

Please can someone explain how the murder of an innocent black child is different from the murder of an innocent child of any other race/country/religion?
If you think one is outrageous and worth your 'fight' and not the other, then you're a bigot and a racist and a heartless fool.

AinA I don't call myself a lauryn hill fan, and her music spoke to me about the oppression of all people, and how only God can help. Maybe you think he only helps black people but that's your thing, if you can't see how ridiculous you sound then I can't help. I don't see much difference between yours and hitlers point of view, master race and chosen people blah blah. Can't believe people actually think that way still. Do you want to answer my question about the difference between the murder of an innocent black child and that of a child of any other colour/country/ religion? Am intrigued how you would justify your point of view to yourself.

I've worked with the Lauryn Hill team for at least 2-years for their Washington, DC concerts as the assistant makeup artist. They have held me down so gotta defend. They were at JFK airport for HOURS waiting to catch a flight to Lagos. I was even on whatsapp with one of the background singer while they were at the airport. I don't know the logistics and all but what I DO know is that they were at the airport waiting to board. #Laurynhill #clients #truth #amakaco http://instagr.am/p/2JiaTazKlb

Uti Nwachukwu @siruti · 2h 2 hours ago This sucks but @mslaurynhill didn't make her flight, so sadly won't be performing tonight. The organisers of the show @maydayliveng (1) Arrgh!!Ms Lauryn Hill missed her flight! ?? so @maydayliveng has no choice but to postpone the show. However tickets remain valid. So sorry? ? Uti Nwachukwu @siruti · 2h 2 hours ago are working with Miss Hill's team to reschedule the show as soon as possible. @maydayliveng plan to honour all tickets bought and will (2) You would have thought that she would have been in Nigeria at least 2 to 3 days before the show to get over jet lag and practice. To leave on the 30th with 16 hours flight is cutting it thin especially when Ms. HIll is not prompt with stage appearances. An entourage of 20 might have been a bit much for a young promoters as well.

Nigerian fans and music enthusiasts were disappointed on Friday night as US music star, Lauryn Hill, failed to show up for the much advertised May Day Live concert in Lagos.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the artiste was billed to perform alongside other Nigerian musicians like Flavour, Yemi Alade, Chidinma, Patoranking and DJ Jimmy Jatt at the Eko Hotel and Suites.
The show, which was organised by ‘May Day Live’, then took place without the American artiste as the advertised Nigerian artistes took to the stage in turns to entertain the audience.
Hill, however, posted an apology on her website, saying, “Hello Lagos, Nigeria! We are disappointed to report that we will not be performing at tonight’s concert.
“From our end, we did everything we were supposed to do, including waiting at the airport for many hours, ready to fly out and share the evening with you.
“Unfortunately, after much effort, the promoter was not able to get all of our travel arrangements taken care of.
“This prevented us from being able to fly into Nigeria in time to make the concert. We were all very excited to come, and very disappointed that we couldn’t make this one.
“However, we are working to reschedule our appearance ASAP(as soon as possible). From what we’ve been told, the promoter intends to honour all tickets sold.
“Our best to and for Lagos. Love and Blessings! Ms. Lauryn Hill and the MLH band and Production Team.’’
She also posted a video on her Facebook page, explaining that she and her crew were at the airport for seven hours and that they would definitely make it up to Nigerians by coming on another date.
In the video titled ‘A Message to Nigeria from Ms. Lauryn Hill’, she said, “Hello Lagos, we are very sorry for not being with you there tonight, we were at the airport for seven hours just to try to get to you.
“We are gonna make it there; we are gonna get there. We wish everybody a wonderful evening,’’ she said with a few members of her band and child behind her before they sang.
The organisers also released a statement promising to have the artiste in Nigeria on a new date.
The statement read, “Due to Ms Lauryn Hill’s flight issues, the organisers of May Day Live and Ms Lauryn Hill management have concluded to postpone the show. A new date will be communicated soon.
“All tickets bought will be used for the new concert date. Meanwhile, a party will still hold today at Eko Hotel, starting from 7pm. Feel free to come and party as no tickets are required.
“The organisers of May Day Live apologise for any inconveniences.’’
However, a member of the organising committee, who pleaded anonymity, told NAN that Lauryn Hill and her 22-man band missed two different flights, expressing disappointment in the actions of the artiste.
