Man I ran in here thinking she made a statement lol. She hasn't said anything but she's with us. I think you could probably use that discussion on racism. One song is Black Rage too. Lots of scared sell outs and the sell out fools they chose to speak TI and Nelly, well... I can appreciate J. Cole. Big Boi said something, Taraji, Jesse Williams, Nate Parker, Isaiah Washington,Tracee Ellis Ross, a few others too, Reagan Gomez. Funny all these Whites with these adopted black children ain't said squat though. Racist Justin Timberfake culture vulture # 5,673,412,574 got dragged for trynna get away with using ninja lol. They really want to use that word. He quickly removed it but it's still captioned on LSA. the michael brown case is well covered on LSA. Lol It's not just him though, it's so many back to back (John Crawford, Ezell Ford, Eric Garner etc) It's ahistorical pattern and we're tired of it. Tired of marching and being asked to be peaceful. Selah also mentioned it too I think

Ms. Hill has enlighten or inform the people of some of the issue we as black people face, but did we take heed to the warning? Ofentimes, the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. (2Corinthian 4:4)
Real truth comes from above and it shine a light in dark places. Ms. Hill was told by the judge to undergo therapy for her truth and those who knew the truth did not come to her defense but remained silence. Dr. King said Injustice anywhere represent injustice everywhere. The bible says the same measure you give out will come back to you again. You reap what you sow. If you don't ever help anyone don't expect anyone to help you.
Finally until we can respect each other's anointing and trust the light that is in them, I am afraid we will continue to stumble in darkness. So who are those that have sold out. I contend it is those who know the truth, but refuse to come to the light because it will leave you isolated and separated from the masses because they are blind, but refuse to acknowledge the state that they are in.
Death will disrobe us all of what we possess, but we try to hold on to the world and its splendors as though we will live forever. This isn't wise and we reject the one who has already made provision or the way to escape the darkness that will come.

You know I was watching this Iyanla: Fix My Life, Ferguson Edition and Iyanla confronted rapper, Benzino about Hip Hop's role in the message that we're sending our young men. And then it occurred to me that Ms. Hill also spoke about that in her song, Fearless Vampire Killer. Check out the lyrics and tell me that fits perfectly with this case too! mymajesticpage.blogspot.com/2012/03/ode-to-ms-lauryn-hill-fearless-vampire.html
