Hi I saw Lauryn Hill in the UK April 2012. I had booked tickets the day they went on sale but a few days later she was doing meet and greet tickets. I was very excited and thought I would booked them and sell the normal ticket. Unluckly I missed out on them but hey not all bad as had the standing tickets which I had already and managed to stand near the stage with a great view. Im going to hopefully book tickets tomorrow for her new show in the UK in September as dont want to miss out as last time all tickets sold in 10mins. It is my dream to meet Lauryn so can anyone tell me if any of the concerts coming up or just gone she has been doing meet and greet tickets? thanks

I was there at her show two years ago in London as well, and I was really hoping to meet her afterwards but couldn't seem to find a way to....for all you lucky people on here that has met her - any tips on where/when to hang around after the show for the off chance that she'll be around?
Please let us know - thanks!

I am from the UK too and can't wait to go to one of the European concerts ! I saw her with the fugees in 2005 but missed the 2008 / 2012 tours - Am not sure about the sloping floor at the O2 Brixton show as I will need to move lol ! If anyone is planning to go to the Brixton show or any of the European dates get in touch as I am the only one in my circle who fancies it

The show was amaazing in 2012. Yeah as i couldnt get meet and greet in 2012 after the show I was trying to see if I could find a way to meet her. I dont want to stand again as it gets packed and people are drunk etc. So im going to try and get the good seat tickets. Does make me think why do peeople spend money on tickets then get high and off there face and not remember the concert. I think they just take tickets from the people that really want to see her. Maybe if you dont like sloping floor maybe try seats. Tried to book priority tickets today at 9 and all priority tickets gone. They sold out in 5mins fingers crossed I get tickets tomorrow when they go on normal sale. I think I will cry if I dont get tickets.

Yesssssssss! Brixton here I come! It was a real faff trying to get tickets, set yourself up today with a live nation and a ticket master account and that will make it easier tomorrow if you try get tickets at 9am. I had set up a live nation one but then it also asked you to set up a ticketmaster one when booking which took ages and theres a time limit once you reserve tickets. I could only get 2 standing, no seats were available at 9am presale. So excited! Not seen her since Zurich 2007! Yippppeeeeee! Now I just need to get the day off work! :/ Good luck tomorrow Lauryn1982, sure you will be ok! Love! x

Ah thats great thanks for the advice emancip8urself. Glad you got some tickets. I had a ticketmaster account already but didnt realise I needed a live nation one. So setting that up is what took the time up and most likely why I missed out. Hopefully I will get seats tomorrow. Fingers crossed. I did try 02 priorty to see if could get tickets with them. They had all gone and didnt realise that they went on sale yesterday at 9am. Well done supermoonface on getting your ticket. Tomrrow im going to log into ticketmaster, live nation & 02 brixton website at 8.45 and get ready to look on all 3.

Supermoonface, I intend to go to the paris concert too. I saw her twice in 2005 (in july she came to Paris by herself and in december. She was with the fugees ) and once in 2012. I preferred the 2005 concerts, although it was during the time that she did not interact much with the public, there was a good energy and she performed many songs from unplugged. I felt the 2012 concert was too all over the place, at times it was great. But there were many weird moments that broke the rythm (she ran backstage to take off her shoes and twice to give instructions to the sound man, lkike literally stopped) and the hand gestures were too distracting. BUT she is my favorite artist, the last concerts seemed great so I'll guve her another chance and I need to take a pic with her (in 2012, she took pictures with the public at the end of the show but. I had already left to go take care of my 2 month old son at the time!!

Just a thought, but sometimes tickets are released in batches at specific time intervals. Might be worth checking again today too !

Argh ! What a bloody nightmare ! I even resorted to clicking on random purple dots like a madman to no avail ! Ticket master user interface rating 2/10. Resale tickets are already up on get in now ! This boils my piss, but I'll regret it if I don't pony up ! Hope you all had better luck than me

Ah sorry to hear that supermoonface. Least you have your standing ticket. Hope you find a seat ticket at a good price.
What website did you try getting them with? I tried the link on ticketmaster that took me to ticketweb. Wanted to do it with them as you can pick youe own seats. They are rubbish. Tickmaster even though you cant pick what seats you want they are much better. Im feeling happy I got them but still feel stressed over crashing on ticketweb the site.
