These polls are pointless, the inexperienced young ones are going to vote for Nikki Minaj, not Hip Hop icons and veterans. Even though us true good music lover we know that Lauryn is above the rest of them the kids will vote for stupidity.

@ Masado, I agree with u, But pleased to see Lauryn is coming firmly second, despite being out the game for about 12 years! It just proves she hasn't been forgotten and her follow up record is still highly anticipated.

masdo Agreed. Useless poll, but still a little surprised, like Sengun, to see Lauryn getting props even with a generation of people who have probably only listened to Nicki Minaj off that list.

Don't be surprised. A lot of young kids love good music. The ones who are exposed know the deal! I have seen quote a few "kids" saying they are going to see Lauryn and Nas alone and didn't care cuz they want to see good music!
