As much as I like that Lauryn is finally giving her European fans another treat, I can't help but wonder what this may mean in regards to her putting out a new album? I thought the American and Moving Target Tour were the last of a series of self-marketing stints priming the people for a new record. My guess is that these two shows in Europe will be the beginning of another concert series, which, maybe, might last for another year like the previous one. I was personally happy when she finished Rock The Bells, thinking, yes, now she can get back into the studio and stop straining her voice. Is booking shows Lauryn's way of making money and being an artist without actually selling records? Is that what she meant when she said she is "coming back"? If so, then power to her, but still, very disappointed.

This is what i posted on the other with regards to her performance at the Aretha Franklin Tribute
"One thing that I don’t even understand, why does she keeps on doing shows straining her voice instead of focusing her energy on creating a new album. There are so many confusing things with regards to her professional and private life."
I am dissapointed too.

" I'm just excited she's not done yet. Can't wait to see footage from the shows " I agree with Since. Don't be so ungrateful guys! your lucky she is doing anything at all. You seem to forget that for the last 9 years during every tour she has talked about new music, But if you remember her 2005 Europe tour, she actually performed a lot of new material. Maybe she will again this time.... Either way, I hope she stops at London so I can see her )))

It's exciting if its true but I for one am too scared to spend money on another journey abroad that may need to be cancelled and lost (having been let down and losing out the last two times)
Looking forward to the footage.
About the album - is there any money in albums these days anyway? Is it not so much more lucrative to tour ? Think thats what she's doing myself - makin some readies.
love! x

Eh..Sorry but i want an album. Call me ungrateful, but an album can be replayed over and over, unlike a performance. Sigh..

There is plenty of money in releasing an album. If Nicki Minaj can go platinum off of 'PINK FRIDAY', then I'm pretty sure Lauryn can go diamond in an even shorter amount of time. Ms. Hill can make more money by touring - since that is how artists make most of their money - but I am speaking from the perspective of a hungry FAN. I love how she adds a different twists to the Miseducation, and experiments with different musical styles each on tour, but I need to hear something NEW. How long is she going to keep playing the same old songs? It's not like she is past her prime or is some, elderly retired singer giving her fans a treat from her golden days. She is young, and still has the pipes to deliver another classic. Professional singing is like boxing - you have to get the player while they are still in shape, and that's truly the only time when you will see them give their best performance. I'm not saying that Lauryn's talent has an expiration date, but I do know that she will not sound the same 10 years from now, nor will she sound better. I'm grateful for Lauryn's contributions, but I would hate to see such a beautiful star never become the supernova it's supposed to be.

You're both speaking as if she was planned to play the miseducation album but... Is it written anywhere? I didn't see any mention of miseduc' album ..... Maybe she'll play the unplugged rearranged or songs unreleased .... Who knows?!
