Lauryn Hill, performing her album for what was reported to be the first time, radiated almost the opposite disposition. She gave the album a new tension, with increased tempos and an urgent rasp. As she sang and rapped, she kept motioning vaguely and abruptly to the musicians behind her to drop out for half a bar or play harder or softer. Only once in a while they caught her suggestion and complied; for most of the set the music operated like a bludgeon. At the end she was joined by Pras, her old band mate in the Fugees, who performed with her briefly on “Ready or Not,” and by five of her six children, who stood in an orderly row to her right. www.nytimes.com/2011/09/05/arts/music/erykah-badu-and-lauryn-hill-at-rock-the-bells-review.html?_r=1&smid=tw-nytimes&seid=auto

Lauryn Hill And Pras Reunite Onstage (Without Wyclef) At Rock The Bells We don’t expect to see a full reunion of The Fugees anytime soon (as you may recall, the trio’s 2007( wrong) attempt to re-form fizzled), but we were excited to hear about, and disappointed to have missed, the re-teaming of two of the three members on Saturday at the New York City date of the Rock the Bells festival mini-tour. Lauryn Hill was the main-stage headliner, slated to perform The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill start-to-finish (though she only played ten of the album’s thirteen songs—the first nine and then “Everything Is Everything”). Then Pras took the stage. If this was a planned surprise, it went off perfectly: no one knew beforehand that Pras would be making an appearance. Sowmya Krishnamurthy‘s Village Voice review suggests it may have been genuinely impromptu: “‘This is how Fugees do it. They just show up!’ Hill proclaimed, clearly not thrilled.” She and Pras have had their differences over the years, but under the circumstances, what could Hill do but oblige his request and perform “Ready Or Not” and “Killing Me Softly”? Hill may not have been thrilled, but everyone else on Governor’s Island seemed to be. blog.vh1.com/2011-09-06/lauryn-hill-and-pras-reunite-onstage-without-wyclef-at-rock-the-bells/

You should've seen her smile and look how they interact while performing. She's walks up on him like a back and forth thing, if you look on the old fugees performances you'll see they used to do that then too. Plus Lauryn asked him if he'd like to perform the next song with her and she didn't have the mic up so I believe it was genuine and he was actually getting off stage when she stopped him and asked him that. Her energy went through the roof when he came out.

She sat it down when she was on stage. Someone gave it to her manager Oh and I didn't forget to post pics of the book. I'll get it done tomorrow
