the same night, 3st of september, Wyclef gave a show in florida. "We also learned that Wyclef still misses the Fugees. Backed by a nine-person band including an effervescent back-up singer, Wyclef started the show with his verse from "Ready or Not". At another point -- before jumping into "Fu-Gee-La" -- he informed us: "Lauryn Hill is right now at Rock the Bells in New York," which seemed a little strange considering that Lauryn Hill probably wasn't busy pinpointing Wyclef's location that night. " blogs.miaminewtimes.com/crossfade/2011/09/wyclef_jean_at_sun_life_stadium_september_3_2011.phplol. We all know by now how much Wyclef misses the group. He's probably the biggest Fugees fan out there. But I hope that if they reunite, he and Lauryn will settle their differences about production, because that's the only way it's going to work. From what I remember, Lauryn wanted to produce some music, and Clef wasn't feeling it. Some say he was jealous of her, but I've heard most of Ms. Hill's self-produced songs, and they sounded closer to R&B than Hip-Hop. Maybe that's why. That's going to have to be some serious settling of differences. Pras said they both are strong-willed, and we already know Lauryn ain't about to acquiesce to anybody when it comes to music, or probably anything for that matter.

A different POV of the 'Ready Or Not' performance. Zion is definitely going through that "I'm too cool for this" teenage phase. lol. Do you spot him in the red cap backstage? Ya know what? Imagine your mom is a superstar that is eccentric and is easy material for kids in school to pick on you. Imagine that she wrote a song about you that kids can easily sing to you whenever they feel like bugging you. You can only imagine what the kid is going through right now in his teenage years. I would play it cool too if I were him. He probably shuns like spotlight unlike his sister who is destined to follow in her mother's footsteps.

Rock the Bells: Lauryn Hill, Nas, Erykah Badu and more live at NYC's Governors Island "Next up was Lauryn Hill. Surprisingly, she was bumped out of her headlining slot in favor of hometown favorite Nas. Still, she performed as if she was the night’s main draw. The theme of this year’s festival was that each act select one of their several albums to play. The decision was easy for Hill , who notoriously only has one solo studio album. Luckily, it’s her masterful The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. At a timely 8:30pm, Hill hit the stage. Many have lamented about how she’s transformed her classic singles into sped-up, unrecognizable ones on stage lately. But for the most part, everything from “Doo Wop (That Thing)” to “Everything Is Everything” felt familiar. Her voice is strong. And apparently, so is her relationship with at least one-third of her old group, the Fugees. She closed out her set bringing out Pras for “Ready or Not,” then encored with her rendition of “Killing Me Softly.” music-mix.ew.com/2011/09/06/rock-the-bells-nyc-lauryn-hill-nas-erykah-badu/

I got to admit, I was skeptical about that Fugees reunion, but when I read that she brought out Pras I guess they weren't lying this time. Who would like to see Pras and Lauryn on a tour? I know i would, cause Pras is definitely more of a team player than Wyclef was...I think Lauryn and Pras would make great music.

Lauryn already has everything in place, the band and back-up singers; Pras can just join them and do a tour together- less tension and the fans will be happy. I keep watching that video of them together, nice!

Lauryn Hill, With Pras, Briefly Plays to the Crowd For a few minutes this weekend — specifically, on Saturday evening, at the end of her set at the New York stop of the Rock the Bells festival — Lauryn Hill showed us what could have been. In the year and change since she’s re-emerged as a live performer, Hill has stubbornly insisted on playing faster versions of the tracks from her classic solo debut, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, often often making them unrecognizable and angering concertgoers. The generous way to explain this is to say that Hill, after years of battling her former Fugees bandmate (and ex-partner) Wyclef Jean, and the music industry in general (see "To Zion"), has returned and is committed to doing things her way. The less generous take is that she's upped the tempo to cover up the fact that she can't sing as well as she used to. The truth, as evidenced by her performance on Saturday, lies somewhere in the middle. For most of her set, Hill stuck to the new script. But then came a surprise appearance from from her other ex-Fugees bandmate, Pras (a man who once said, “Before I work with Lauryn Hill again, you will have a better chance of seeing Osama Bin Laden and [George W.] Bush in Starbucks having a latte, discussing foreign policies”). Together, they rampaged through Fugees single “Ready Or Not,” with Hill leading the way. And as she knocked out both the absent (duh) Wyclef’s bits and her own potent verse (“So while you're imitating Al Capone, I'll be Nina Simone /And defecating on your microphone”), the sleepy crowd erupted. And the two weren’t done. While Lauryn pulled her many children on the stage to share the spotlight, Pras faux-cajoled her into doing one more song. She relented, shutting things down with a rendition of “Killing Me Softly” that flirted with her former greatness. Reviews of the show were harsh, and the masses probably won’t be satisfied until Hill turns back the clock completely. But on Saturday, Hill proved that if she really wanted to, she could take us back there. She sped up "Lost Ones" and "Final Hour", which were 94% rapping. And she slowed down "Ex Factor" on the remixed version during her last tour. So it's obvious that Lauryn isn't trying to hide her voice by speeding up these songs. But I guess it's only natural to wonder why, oh why, are some of the songs so instantaneously fast? lol

I was in front the whole time! I did not move, you couldn't, if you moved someone would have definitely gotten my spot so we stuck it out and it was fun! I think I was most pleasantly surprised by Erykah Badu's performance. She is definitely a performer. I have to see her again. That's how amazing she was! and of course it goes without saying how amazing Lauryn was
