Sorry to disappoint but the show was AWFUL
I was there, and EVERYONE, yes, everyone was so disappointed and disheartened by the fiasco that it was.
People really bad mouth Lauryn's looks and attitude but there were A LOT of excitment and positive thoughts before the show. Everyone was excited and really hoping she'd pull a great show and make everyone forget the awful 2007 set.
It was a MESS. A mess a mess and A BIG FAT MESS. She was crazy, hoarse, the band was loud, the songs REALLY became UNRECOGNIZEBLE I mean, it was so sad to watch everyone just like '.................' no one had a clue of what to make.
It was not R&B, it was ROCK, HARDCORE beats and LOUD noise. Ëveryone left with a very bad impression.

Wow after watching these videos I was thinking that her show is much better over seas than here in the US. She seems to be having more fun and singing more. I couldn't see the mess you describe from the videos.

Lauryn Hill By NINA RAMOS RIO DE JANEIRO - With a large black trousers , overcoat red, bright pink beret and a lot of gold , Lauryn Hill stage invaded the concert hall Citibank Hall , Rio de Janeiro, and put the locals to jump to the strong sound of hits on the night of Monday (6). Unlike last passage through the country in 2007 , former Fugees made beautiful by presenting his classic repertoire that includes songs like "Lost Ones , "" Forgive Them Father "and "X- Factor. " Daniel de Oliveira e Vanessa Giacomo were some of the celebrities who have given the sound of American diva , who has not released a new work for 12 years. "I came by it , really. I love the sound, and the time of the Fugees , "said the interpreter Agnello on " Passione . " Vanessa and the actor came running and were soon on the floor VIP Lauryn . The couple left Raul, the eldest son , and little Moses , the youngest, at home to enjoy a moment together. "He's great, " warned about baby Vanessa . Another animated group was " Written in the Stars . " Jayme Matarazzo confessed that he was responsible for stirring the friends for the presentation. "We are in the final novel , and everyone is feeling it too. Strong commitment to seeing ourselves as much as possible , especially after the novel. even turned into family . It's family Roger Gomes , " the actor said , referring to the director of the plot. Paulo Vilela , who lives in Breno " Writing ...", agreed with his colleague : " We spend more time together than with their own families. We party forever. Just yesterday we passed the home of Carol [Castro ]. " The interpreter Mariana inclusive, was confirmed for the show, but did not appear. Although the plot of 18 hours of the Globe, Marina Ruy Barbosa Manuela do Monte and enjoyed the sound of Lauryn with friends. And I came to talk about it, though more focused and totally in pressure, the sound of the show was to be desired. The report of Famous was very close to the stage , but caught a lot of people did not like what he heard in the back of the venue. Even Lauryn complained several times : one hour was howling , another time the return was very low, the other was very high return . Despite these details, was well worth waiting to accompany the show from about 1:40 a.m. . "Turn Your Lights Down Low " was one of the most beautiful songs , like "Zion , "which raised the level of adrenaline and Lauryn did jump up tired. Accompanied by an incredible band - that did not stop to ask the audience threw their hands in the air - Lauryn acted as a conductor. At any time asked for more "pressure "to one of them. It was a guitar solo sharper , more break DJ , more chorus of backing vocals - great for the purpose of registration. A hoarse voice , his trademark , it failed at times , indeed. But it did not hurt at all. served up with charm . Lauryn used echo effects to extend notes and seemed to play rap . His constant companion on stage was a black washcloth , which she dropped in no time. The singer has ventured to talk to the audience and told stories of fast songs like "X- Factor " , who said he was born of the heart. "It's mine [ in the sense of intimate ], I wanted to sing , " he said. Undoubtedly the most exciting moment was when Lauryn sang the first phrase of "Killing Me Softly " Fugees great success . Was in the very guy who was taken aback by the reception from the public , who accompanied her in unison. "Thanks , River We love you , "he concluded , after presenting the classic " Doo Wop " to quit. Below you can see what were the VIPs who visited the show's diva and still pictures of Lauryn on stage: Source Review and Photos entretenimento.br.msn.com/famosos/fotos-galeria.aspx?cp-documentid=25481950

Lauryn Hill in Brazil It’s like September is African American Music Month with a continuation of Black American Artists and Musicians in Brazil; Erykah Badu at Back 2 Black Festival and Lionel Richie’s solo concert in Rio de Janeiro last week and this week, ex-Fugees member Lauryn Hill performs in Florianopolis, Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo and Brasilia. In an interview with MTV Brasil Lauryn tells us that her next studio album should be released very soon, but did not give an exact date. Recently Lauryn took part of the Hip Hop festival Rock the Bells with Mary J. Blige, Beyoncé, Alicia Keys, Swizz Beatz, Chris Rock, John Legend Jay-Z paying homage. It’s a shame though that Lauryn’s true Hip-Hop and R&B fans were not able to see her in Rio de Janeiro last night, as the show was held at one of the most expensive venues in Rio with prices starting around $175 USD, the show was attended by Rio’s rich and elite class that of her true fans would be hard pressed to afford a ticket. (note to American artist coming to Brazil – the average Brazilian’s salary is about $500 a month) thebrazilshow.com/2010/09/07/lauryn-hill-in-brazil/
