I hope before we level our critics of Ms Hill that we take into consideration the amount of hard work she is putting into getting herself back into form. I follow some of her band members, and they did not even sleep prior to this performance. They had a rehearsal that lasted until the time they had to leave for their soundcheck (10 or 12 hours). She is working realy hard all while raising 5 kids by herself. She seems to try not to short change her kids; therefore, she does her music mostly at night in all night sessions. Do you think she goes right to sleep when she finally makes it home. All I am saying is give her a break, and stop being so critical. She has delivered some great performance not all up to her standard, but she always gives it her all.

This was a special moment. I can't believe she brought all her kids on stage. That must have been an emotional performance. And I also think its great Mary, Jay-Z, Beyonce, and Alicia Keys all came out to support her. After all these years, people are still routing for her. It was great moment and the highlight of the entire concert for me!

Also agree with this: People forget that every person that stepped on that stage has been influenced by Lauryn Hill in one way or another. They know she's royalty, that's why they came. When would you ever see all of those particular people together at a concert? They don't even go to each other's concerts like that. Now, yes, Ms. Hill has a long way to go to get back to where she was, but nobody can deny that what she did on the Miseducation album was legendary. That album is a definite classic. And all those "Today's Celebs" that popped up on that stage know that. Especially Alicia Keys, she's the main one that was heavily influenced by Lauryn when she first debuted. you can definitely smell some duets coming. All of that bringing people on stage was a strategic move. Lauryn knows the deal. She knows how fickle the public can be. While she has influenced almost every artist in that building, times have changed. What's current is what people pay attention to, so she will definitely need some of those people's help if she wants to get back to mainstream status. I see Swizz, Mary, Jay and Alicia collaborating with Ms. Hill in the near future. And I hope that'll be something that benefits her more than just them.

Back in the hotel. My boyfriend took good vidéos. but I must say that I'm very disappointed. Her voice was raspy and her arrengement too rock for me! I saw her already two times and that was magic but not today. A lot of sound's problems too. I want her to play hip hop and not rock !!!! She was supposed to play miseducation And no doo woop

so according to twitter, lauryn is more then an hour late, and they CLEARED the stage of all the stuff they put up there for her!? no performance? uh, this is gonna be a bad. now they say she's sick?!?! Supernatural: "Lauryn Hill is on the building, but she is very sick." "Lauryn Hill is in the building. She's dehydrated and her voice is shot. She going to try to make it to the stage" tweetphoto.com/42229966www.twitvid.com/M1DBN

:-[ No, say it isn't so! they'll probably put out a statement that she isn't feeling well. She probably ran out of steam after yesterday's performance. or maybe she caught wind that people weren't feeling her set and decided to cut things off. Following Lauryn can be really frustrating - she's so unpredictable and right now she's playing into the hands of her critics
