Thanks for the find, it's a nice song. I'll try and write up the lyrics if no one else does it before me.

I know what you mean, it's great when these gems are discovered!
Here are the lyrics:
I was born into this world (this world) Little bitty baby girl Not looking white, looking so Black In a racist world
Now it’s a difficult process (difficult process) The matter is of perception When I look in the mirror, what do I see? Is it my reflection? See repercussions...
[Chorus] Talkin' bout the things we do (They need to know repercussions)
Things can come right back to you (f**k these repercussions)
What goes around comes around (Hey repercussions)
See I was born into this world In another space and time (ti-ii-ime) Time has moved on And death has grown closer Surely has blown my mind (Blown my mind)
Ain’t that a biaaat**? The way the world spins around (Spins around, spins around, spins around) Everything, everything, everything that I said and I did Surely came back around See repercussions...
[Chorus] Talkin' bout the things we do (Repercussions)
Things sure can come back to you (Yeah repercussions)
What goes around comes around (Yeah repercussions)
They will get you down (Repercussions)
Talkin' bout the things we do (Yeah repercussions)
Things sure can come back to you (You need to know the repercussions)
What goes around comes around (Repercussions)
They will get you down
So reap, reap Reap, reap.

It's sounds like it was recorded around the mised time, maybe after when she was recording Rebel. It's beautiful her voice is so 1 of a kind!

lyric correction. she says, " not looking bi, looking so Black" in relation to race matters.

I think that she actually says "Not looking white, looking so black"

When do you think it was recorded? As the arrangement and voice are concerned I would go with the "Miseducation" era, but I really hope it's more recent than that...

I don't really care when this demo was recorded. I'm just glad that the world is reminded yet again why Lauryn is in a league of her own and why we fell in love with her in the first place - you just cannot top her beautiful voice.
Make sure to listen to her new performance in Rwanda. the new mix on Zion is just beautiful. She's getting creative again!

Due to all the buzz over the Internet and the media connected with a comeback, concerts and "Repercussions", "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill" is currently at #76 on US iTunes. Maybe it's gonna come back to the charts for a week or two

At #60 now, it deserves to get much more higher and more recognition in midst of all the other 'music' out there!
