The ‘Simon Says’ star gives a taster of his new album... Pharoahe Monch gave fans and invited guests the first sneak preview of his new album ’Desire’ last night. In attendance himself, Mr Monch spoke about the album and also revealed that he will be working with Lauren Hill on his new track ’Hold On’.Although not yet fully completed, the album features a number of stompers including the title track ‘Desire’ and second single ’Push’. www.mtv.co.uk/mtvuk/news/article.jh...icleId=80135387
I was looking at an article on MTV news and he said in his interview this: "There are no rappers, but we have a couple of vocalists on the album," he said of the LP. "One is a female. She rhymes as well as sings. She killed it. Everybody knows who she is," Monch said

more information: [...] ‘Desire’ features a couple of superstar guest spots – both Lauryn Hill and Erykah Badu have both laid down vocals for ‘Hold On’ – and on the boards are various producers, including Denaun Porter, aka Kon Artis of D12, who executively produces this album. Monch praises him for being able to “shift from different sounds”, varying from 50 Cent’s ‘P.I.M.P’ to everything he’s done with D12 and now what he’s done on ‘Desire’. Porter also produces the track ‘Walk Alone’, which samples Aretha Franklin. [...] ‘Desire’ is set for a November 27, 2006 release.source: www.thesituation.co.uk/concerts/06/pharoahe_monch/pharoahe_monch.html

L is a rapper and Angie Stone isn't,so,Angie Stone will be on that song Well, I'm not sure about that. If you look at my first post again, there is a short INTERVIEW with Pharoahe Monch and he says that the person thats featured on his album sings AND RAPS (not particular on this song, but in gerneral, someone who is a singer/MC). AND ANGIE STONE is only a SINGER, not a MC. So maybe (hopefully) that new source is wrong and it is LAURYN HILL he is talking about. In general, I trust the first source more because this source (MTV) is actually quoting an INTERVIEW. And although he doesnt say the name "Lauryn Hill" there is a great chance that hes talking about her because there are only very few in the business who sing and rap (female) and who is know by everyone.... think about? who comes to your mind??
