peace yall,
it's Jeremy Sole here. Someone just told me about this page, and mentioned that they saw my name on here as one of Ms.Hill's producers. I made some beats with her and we had a good time vibing on music and the beautiful struggle called LIFE... but I just wanted to clarify a few things since the reporter that was interviewing me from LA.com slightly mis-represented a few facts (and I'm not a big fan of the distortion that happens through hearsay).
First of all (and many of you would imagine), Ms.Hill is an amazing person and a bonified powerhouse of soul, talent, work ethic and genius. I am honored to work with her as much (or as little) as God plans.
To clear up some things from that article that started this post, Ms.Hill was never a "fan of my Afro Funke' weekly gig" (which is great though and I'm sure she'll love it if she does come by sometime)... she simply got to LA to work with some new talent on conceptualizing new sounds, and they called me because they heard that my production style mixes Hip Hop, Soul, Rock, Afrobeat, Brazilian and other world flavors. Yes, she has been influenced by more roots (ethnic/cultural/worldly...whatever) types of music, and it's really going to develop into something beautiful! ...just you wait!
Well, I'm a novice on these boards so I don't know much etiquette.... so I guess I'll just sign off. Just wanted to clear some things up from that article.
Keep hope alive for the her new music. It will be ALL LOVE!
Be well y'all (to yourselves and each other!)
