HILL TO 'CHALLENGE' HERSELF AT MOBOS Ex-FUGEES singer LAURYN HILL almost snubbed tonight's (22SEP05) Music Of Black Origin (MOBO) Awards because of her "insecurities", but is braving the London event in order to reassert her confidence.
Hill, who hasn't released a studio album since THE MISEDUCATION OF LAURYN HILL in 1998, has rarely been seen in public in recent years.
She says, "My own insecurities have prevented me from really being more public... I saw this invitation as an opportunity to challenge myself."
