Tesfaye, whose soft-spokenness and affable demeanor would surprise anyone who listens to his records, is nearby, swaying gently in the dining room to a Lauryn Hill record next to the rack of clothes his stylist brought. He settled on an all black ensemble – jacket, T-shirt and jeans for the photoshoot that awaited him. Article also says he is perofrming at the grammys and collaborating with artists he's always wanted to collaborate with. (?) touch.latimes.com/#section/-1/article/p2p-85873444/

Hopefully, the others got a preview lol lmao, that's messed up lol...hopefully they did tho. Nah, she sounded really great and I'm not saying that cuz I love her lol... Voice sounded rested. It only sounds strained or not at its best so to speak, when she's been doing too much and that's to be expected, she's doing a lot with her vocals, but she sounded really good. Her voice never changed to me, I just think it was a combination of retraining the muscle and not putting so much stress on it. She sounded great. People expect a lot and I hate putting that kind of pressure on people, that's why I always take them how they come if it's genuine in spirit (obviously this depends on what it is lol). Tell your friend to tell L we said hello lol. Do you know if that was the song she's performing at the Grammys? I don't listen to the Weeknd. Thx again for the link.

I don't wanna get no body in trouble lol. I agree, my only complaint I've had was with the Nina tracks, which I felt weren't produced as well as they could have (even though I do love I've got life, and Wild is the wind). I felt the engineers could have taken out the heavy breathing on the tracks. However, "A Cradle in Bethlehem," did exactly that even though it wasn't mastered. She was perfect vocally for me on that track. I'm 70% sure she's performing with the Weeknd, their is still a 30% chance for her to do something else. lol The Grammys has announced she will be their, they don't advertise an artist unless they won't be on the show. Artist who are in the audience and not apart of the show are not announced. The presenters have all been announced, so theirs little to no room for her to be a presenter, unless she's a surprise presenter. Then we get her rehearsing the Weeknd song, who is also a performer. lol My bet is on her being a surprise during the Weeknd performance. However, things can always change.
Like what else of a reason Lauryn would be singing a weeknd song for? Do y'all think she is really a fan? lol
I'm not gonna lie, I would love for Kendrick to win album of the year, with Lauryn being the presenter....

Wonder why the weeknd... haha she could be a fan Iono lol... oooh that'd be nice if Lauryn was the presenter for Kendrick. Now that would be an interesting pair up, Lauryn, Kendrick and J. Cole... ok so that was The Weeknd's song then lol... Tell your friend I said 'good looking out' lol

Mmh I did read somewhere that she would be joining the Weeknd in his performance - maybe they'll do a mash up of their respective songs. Slightly concerned about her heavy schedule. It could put her under strain vocally. It sounds like she won't get much sleep on Sunday (her shows finish late and she has to fly to LA on Monday morning).
I do hope she gets to present Kendrick with his AOTY award

It would have been dope if she was doing a Nina tribute instead of featuring in another artist's performance. But hey I'll take what I can get with L - her mere presence is a big deal and hopefully a signal that we're close to a release.
