4 unreleased Fugees tracks to see the light of day

On the new Wyclef Jean compilation album due to be released later this year. The album will cover the span of his whole career and according to some sources a few unreleased Fugees songs will get released in their original form.

According to Wikipedia these songs are:
"Praying For Time"
"You Make Me A Better Man"
"Can You Find Love?"
"The Tracks Of My Tears (Refugee Remix)" (feat. Peter Andre)

The tracks will be credited to Wyclef Jean & the Refugee Camp Allstars

The album also includes four unreleased recordings from Jean's time with The Fugees. "I was in talks with Lauryn Hill and Pras, and asked them if i could release "Praying For Time", which was was one of our earliest tracks, with demo versions dating back to as far as 1992. They said 'Yeah, Why Not', and said that the stuff we did for the New Beatz album, which was to be our third studio release, before it got shelved, might as well be released too." The tracks, entitled "Can You Find Love?" and "You Make Me A Better Man", were unreleased cuts from the New Beatz project. "We also did a track with Pete (Peter Andre) back in the day, and i hope that we can release our mix because it was pretty amazing." The track, which was a cover of the Tempations' "The Tracks Of My Tears", was recorded as a collaboration with Australian cypriot Peter Andre for his third studio album, Time, however, a version with the The Fugees on lead vocals was also recorded, but remains unreleased.

OK, don't know how much of this is actually true and going to happen. Just sharing what I've come across. It would be great though to hear some unreleased stuff by the Fugees

Yeah i would love to hear these songs. The Fugees 'golden era' was back in the mid 90's so if these songs are legitimate i think we're in for a real treat

Interesting thread, was it ever confirmed if this information was false or real but just didn't happen?
