www.brisbanetimes.com.au/entertainment/your-brisbane/wyclef-jean-cancels-australian-tour-20100119-mirg.htmlRap sensation Wyclef Jean has pulled out of a planned Australian tour with former Fugees bandmate Lauryn Hill to continue aid efforts in Haiti. The Haitian-born artist was due to perform five shows, including one in Brisbane, alongside Hill and several other reggae, hip hop and soul acts as part of Raggamuffin 2010 later this month. But tour organisers announced this afternoon Jean had chosen to remain in the US, where he has been actively raising money to help victims of last week's 7.0 magnitude earthquake through his charity, the Yele Haiti Foundation.

Yes...it is true. Wyclef has withdrawn from all of his shows. I have been reading the newspapers and it says evrywhere that he has chosen to remain in the U.S for charity purposes. I totally understand that. But people should remember that the concert has many more artists who are worth watching.
