VIDEOSIntro (live at VEGA, Copenhagen, July, 18th 2007)www.youtube.com/watch?v=ik1bXgEmOH4Sinnerman / Final Hour (live at VEGA, Copenhagen, July, 18th 2007)www.youtube.com/watch?v=euG0pqnK7CQNatty Dread / Lost Ones (live at VEGA, Copenhagen, July, 18th 2007)pt 1: www.youtube.com/watch?v=DoDF0A4_PHMpt 2: www.youtube.com/watch?v=mnf9sTN-GPUHej people, I just came back from the show in Copenhagen and you wouldnt believe how exhausted and tired I am right now... I havent had much sleep the last 2 night but what can I say, it was all worth it...! I'd do it again and again...! THIS SHOW WAS ABSOULTLY GENIUS! honeslty, now you might say that I am bit biased but really, believe me, this show was the bomb! I did not experience ONE single points of the criticism of the oakland show. First of: her voiceWhen she came on stage and sand the first few lines of "Hethen" I was really surprised at how strong her voice was. During the show it did get a bit more raspy but it really didnt take away from the songs. Especially during the slow and acapella songs, she sounded just as good as back in the day (eg. Lose Myself acapella, The first time ever I saw your face) her attitude:She was so damn happy. And she talked and interacted with the crowd a lot. She actually sang "Doo Wop" together with a part of the crowd, leaning forward to the crowd. She gave her towel to one guy in the frist row because he was dancing and singing a long... This was so great to see. (by the way: if you read this, send me that damn towel, I DESERVE it LOL) the music/band:PURE HEAT! That band is amazing, the way they blend the songs into one another and remix songs... amazing! Ive never heard a sound like this before! The band is huuuge (there are even two full drum sets! 15 or 16 people on stage!) rappingseriously, her flow is insane. I cant even describe it... druing "lost ones" and especially "final hour..." whoooa! downsides:only one: yeah, she was late again. Doors were supposed to open at 7pm, however, when I arrived at the venue at around 7:15 they were still rehearsing... and continured to rehearse until I believe around 8pm. Doors opened shortly after they had stopped rehearsing. Then we waited for about 1 hour in the venue room. At around 21 a dj came on stage and played some songs for about 20 min. At 21:30 the band finally came on stage... By then, the crowd was hyped and they made them a good entrance! I believe noone left the venue before the show was over. All the people around me enjoyed the show and people were dancing like crazy. Lots of "lauryn we love you" etc etc could be heard. She played for more than 2 hours! I was soo surprised because it was soooo long! She didnt leave out ANY of the songs. She was really feeling this concert and seemed to love the crowd. TRACKLIST (not in order)Heathen Trenchtown Natty Dread Zimbabwe Iron Lion Zion We & Dem Hammer Lost Ones Doo Wop Everything Is Everything (encore) To Zion When It Hurts So Bad (!!!) Final Hour Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow (encore) The First Time ever I saw Your Face Sinnerman (remixed with Final Hour) Zealots How Many Mics Fu Gee La Ready Or Not Killing Me Softly (encore) Lose Myself (encore) Lose Myself (a capella) My highlights: her smile! she was really happy, enjoing the show (this was sooo different when I saw her in Stuttgart in 2005... no smile, no interaction, nothing) When she sang "Lose Myself" acappella, making sure the people really get what she saying... which they did. The way she remixed Sinnerman with Final Hour. Her flow! Im really running out of words and think I cant even express how this concert felt. I wish you would have been there as well to experience it... its really not easy to describe all those little things she did and say that made you say: "whooa" - espeically knowing her history. I made some short videos... will be back posting them soon!

I LOVE the Sinnerman performance. I think it may be my favorite so far. I was somewhat familiar with the song, but never paid much attention to the lyrics. I guess I have to dig out my Nina Simone greatest hits to see if its on there. Thanks again and it looks like a wonderful time. Ms Hill was gorgeous. She really dressed up for you guys.

Sinnerman by Ms Nina Simonewww.youtube.com/watch?v=mSasf8GBfV4I love Nina Simone. I believe the older ms. hill is getting the more she reminds me of this woman. Not just musically but as a person and what she stands and peaks for. P.S I love Lauryn's haircut!!!

i too was at the concert in Vega with my two best friends.. I really love Lauryn.. i do.. Bur the show was awful..
1. the bas was extremely loud.. i actually felt pain bacause of it.. my best friend is pregnant and she couln't stand it.. she said she was really in pain.. so we had to move away from the concert..
2. her band is made of idiots.. she kept correcting them.. telling them when to play what.. apparently they can't follow simple instuctions
3. the soundvolume was bad.. i had to stick kleenex in my ears.. AND i couldn't hear normally for 4 hours AFTER the concert..
i love lauryn.. the only good experiences i had was when she sang "first time ever i saw your face" and "ex-factor"
4. there were plenty of people leaving during the show.. i asked the doormen.. they said at least 200 people left within the first half hour

She got really bad reviews and over 50% of the people at the concert have reclaimed their money back because of th bad show
