Hya,
First of all, i hope you'll understand me cause i'm belgian, so excuse my english. ("I'm american, so excuse my president" ;D)
The 2 hour show was... brillant... gigantic... amazing! There is no word strong enough to describe what a live performance of the Fugees is.
Yesterday my dream became reality. A reality who was 5 meters from me. And i can say that i wasn't disapointed Sometimes when you dream something you have an idea in mind that is better than the reality, and i read some bad reviews here on the tour talk forum so i had a little apprehension but the Fugees are definetly the best group ever.
Lauryn was boosted dancin all the time (maybe the proximity of NL coffeeshops and the fact there was no concert the day before so they were in olympic form ;D). Singin like a goddess, and i found her very involved with the public (contrary what i read in another reviews).
Wyclef was brillant as usual. He climbed a 3m barrier to go into the crowd (rightside) and he stopped just right my girlfriend who hold his hand during the rest of the song.
Pras was also very good and extremely professional. The show would not have been the same without him. I remarked he was very attentive to Lauryn.
Another very good point is that the ethias arena is a very very good hall (sound & organisation). Thanks to them for being so laxist with smoke (they usually apply a strict non smoking policy). I think this took a part in the success of the concert.
Finally some people say they saw 3 individuals singing together. I didn't. There were a lot of complicity between them, a lot of smiles, and i saw without any hesitation the best concert of all my life.
Next one will be Mr Damian Jr Gong Marley @ Ancienne Belgique, Brussels on March 6th ;D with the hope to have one day in my life the chance to see the Fugees again. (If i had enough money, i would have go to one of the last concerts of this european tour, and in all cases, if you love the fugees, don't miss this!)
Soon their new album, and maybe a dvd of this tour??? (There were cams during all the show)
