thanks for posting this. im a huge nas fan and i really like this new song. but in my opinion, the orignial is a classic and is much better lyrically. the only problem i have with the new one is the beat.
btw, do you know if this is going on his new album or if hes actually workin on a new album?

No, I just think she is aware of all the public scrutiny Lauryn receives and how difficult it must be. I know Common also gives words of comfort to Lauryn when he performs "Misunderstood", which samples Nina Simone. I have not been able to find any footage of his performances of this song on youtube. If you have seen footage please post. www.youtube.com/watch?v=7YTB9S1v_RAhe mentions lauryn near the end of this performance

i just saw this great documentary made by the BBC on vh1 soul called Urban Soul - Stories on the Making of Modern R&B. It had a nice section on the fugees and Lauryn Hill (about 15 mins) with interviews and commentary from wyclef, pras, mary j, and others. you should all check it out. link to section on fugees www.vh1.com/video/play.jhtml?id=1571774&vid=181229the whole documentary is on the same website.
