Stop playing the race card, you racist! Are you that desperate for attention Sybille. So now you have to be Lauryn's little sis? Why the hell you? Racist. What the f**k you're talking about? Stop calling Sybille a racist!!!!!!! She was only jocking, the same way that I did! So what the hell is wrong with you? No sense of humor? Well.......sorry, I know life is a serious thing, stop laughing, stop smiling

Lol - I am sure that "social drugs" is a metapher for our whole society But to be honest, I don't know if there's something about it - Lauryn doesn't seem that healty - but that's not our right to talk about her privat life. When she's really in pain, she needs time to heal, so we should not put her under presure!

Talib Kweli is one of my favourite MCs - i like the shit he did with Reflection Eternal. This song is so wunderful, make some noise for L-Boogie...oh excuse me Ms. Hill I guess, Talib just wanted to show Lauryn how much he respects her as an artist und how much Hip Hop needs her as an MC, because there still not so many female MCs out there with a message! And last but not least he wanted to show her, how much her fans really love her & even care about her! But does that: but she look at me like she don't know me when she see me nowadayssound like a litte diss? Not a real diss, but something like "Come on babygirl, what you're doing right know...."

Hi guys,
I found an old interview from 1999. It’s from a German magazine called “Stern”. Unfortunately I just found one page of the whole article, it used to have 3 or 4 pages. Anyway, I translated it for you guys (or let me say I tried to translate it)
I hope you'll understand it
Stern: You act like, people just have to jump over these borders
Lauryn: Yes, it’s just like that. Many people prophesied me, my career is going to end when I decided to have two children after this huge hype about “The Score”. They said: “Think about it once again, thoroughly!”
Stern: What was your reaction?
Lauryn: I didn’t think about it – in no way. I just did it. The fear not to manage something is the biggest obstacle. Do you know Bugs Bunny? Well, of course you know Bugs Bunny! There is always the same scene, in which he is pursued and even though there is a cliff he is still running. Sometimes is running over it, sometimes he realises suddenly that there is an abyss under his feet and just in this moment he starts falling. What I try to tell you: Just do, what you thing it’s right and do it now! If you start thinking about it and ask yourself if you could manage it, it’s too late.
Stern: What does your family-planning look like in the future?
Lauryn: At this moment two children are enough for me. My boyfriend, Rohan Marley, will possibly tell you something different.
Stern: Your grandmother has got 13 children?
Lauryn: Oh, we won’t go this far. But, now you know where my sense of family is coming from. My grandmother is an enchanting woman. Nobody in our family did miss enough love and attention. This has influenced me a lot.
Stern: Also related to your aid organisation for children called the “refugee project”?
Lauryn: Yes, sure. I really like to give the love and devotion that I received to those you don’t get it.
Stern: Tell us more about the “refugee project”
Lauryn: It’s still all, forgive me this corny joke, in the fledgling stages. There has been a CD and people could have been offering T-Shirt’s. From the money we raised we organised a summer camp for 130 children that are living in the slums. These children have never been in the great outdoors. Some of them, haven’t seen a butterfly in their whole life. One child really said “oh what a lot of grass up in here” – can you image that?
Stern: No, and I can’t also imagine Lauryn Hill playing ball or fishing.
Lauryn: Oh that was wonderful. We try do build this project for a year. That means, the children won’t be there just for a summer, the will be there for a whole year. Well, it’s just a year, but maybe that would chance their lives a little bit for the rest of their lives.
Stern: “Fugees” “Refugee Camp” “Refugee Project” Seems like it’s all about refugees in your work and in your life. How do you feel when you see the pictures form the Kosovo?
Lauryn: Of course, it’s really hard for me. I cry! I feel with the families that were loosing their fathers, their houses, and their homeland. Everything
Stern: And the bombs?
Lauryn: Bombs, they matter that people suffer and die. And for me it’s not logical that we let people suffer or die, just to rescue other people form suffering and death! On the other hand, I can’t develop a formula for peace.
Stern: Don’t you feel alone und helpless?
Lauryn: I’m not helpless, I can pray to God!
