19 and still fresh

19 years ago today Miseducation dropped and changed lives, mine in particular.

I've recently started playing the album again, after a long love affair with the live shows and I've gained so much perspective as I've aged that it almost hits the ear like new, with a deeper understanding of the emotions behind the lyrics and a greater appreciation for the musicality.

If new music comes or not, Ms. Lauryn Hill will always have a special place in my heart.
