The documentary I was def gonna ask about. I'm pretty sure she knows it got spread a bit. I think with the right setup she'd probably release something akin to an interview, prob something less "formal"? Idk

Anybody watching this Tidal special? My expression (and the folks I'm watching it with) for most part up until like Sir the Baptist, and Emeli etc I'ma always love Common even with his "extend a hand" comment lol smh. but I am not surprised at how so many black people (even the "woke" ones) still want white acceptance/validation. It's a conditioned response to our oppression. Hard to unroot if you're not aware of what's driving it. And Whites know a lot of us "seek" this.

In terms of the actual foundation(s), I'm assuming majority if not all, were probably non-Black initiated charities? I'll just leave this here, however even with Black orgs, the accountability to the people has to be present, otherwise it does nothing to truly solve what we're up against:

When you research the history of non-profit orgs and Black issues...you'll see a pattern...control control control...disguised as aid...but actually disempowers blacks...monitors...will use black figureheads too. Liberal/Progressive Whites are the worst type of racist because it's hidden.

So, yeah I'm conflicted a bit because I know our people need some relief, at the same time I feel a certain way about it because I know how this stuff works, but if there are any Black orgs that get money, that's cool and if it temporarily helps alleviate some pressure until we get it together, then I mean, it is what it is until then.

(Sorry L, I'm coppin' that phrase and putting it on a t-shirt or something lol) "Stand up and Live."

Anyway, sorry if this seems like a debbie downer post, but it's important to me and other Blacks that we really understand what the deal is, otherwise we'll keep going in circles.

Oh yeah my posts are always probably being flagged lol. I don't care. Well truth is the truth. They can't drive. 😂 plus stereotypes are generally ok to generalize if it's something common across the board with that entire population; you'll of course have outliers.

Racism? Nah. Now, if blacks had the collective power to create and enforce policy/law, conditions etc that backs particular ideologies that produce inequitable conditions for one entire group, then yeah you could call me racist. Of course I wouldn't do that to anyone, but you get the idea.
