Ask her about the documentary from 2007, is she aware of it ? Does she mind ? Also please tell her that we need a big interview (magazine or video whatever) and of course new recordings !

😂 Damn y'all I ain't trynna make the sister feel like she's being interviewed 😂 I understand the urgency tho Lol.
The documentary I was def gonna ask about. I'm pretty sure she knows it got spread a bit. I'on think (I don't --Ebonics y'all lol) I don't think Lauryn Is big on interviews like that and tbh I can understand why. I think with the right setup she'd probably release something akin to an interview, prob something less "formal"? Idk
I wanted to pick her brain about some stuff, just a casual flow. I hope she ain't too tired lol. I'ma night owl usually. I'll check back later in the week. I will condense if there are repetitive themes lol I don't wanna probe too much into the album bit, that will seem invasive to me. But I am curious to see what the temperament of the album might be.

aight got y'alls questions. Anybody watching this Tidal special? My expression (and the folks I'm watching it with) for most part up until like Sir the Baptist, and Emeli etc I'ma always love Common even with his "extend a hand" comment lol smh. but I am not surprised at how so many black people (even the "woke" ones) still want white acceptance/validation. It's a conditioned response to our oppression. Hard to unroot if you're not aware of what's driving it. And Whites know a lot of us "seek" this. Anyway we was looking like this sister here lol my god damn ears were burning from that Blood Orange cat. I couldn't take it. I felt like I was watching a bad version of a New Edition Verdine White but with locs lol. I was like, don't do no more damn songs (the content was ok though). The irony is that he's associated with a label called terrible records :/ and the try hard culture vulture Bassy? :/ lol and this little negro called lil yachty smh... Sho was quiet on TIP and Common's first couple of songs lol. L-BOOGIE! She's doing REBEL y'all! Nicki Minaj is like another lil kim, so much talent, but extremely toxic to herself and much of the public. Overall not bad...sans like 99% of the starting acts lol, there were a couple that were ok imo. The headliners were best.

In terms of the actual foundation(s), I'm assuming majority if not all, were probably non-Black initiated charities? I'll just leave this here, however even with Black orgs, the accountability to the people has to be present, otherwise it does nothing to truly solve what we're up against: White power and Black voices: Why we can’t rely on “good white people”The Industry of Black Suffering: Breaking Down the Non-Profit Industrial ComplexWhen you research the history of non-profit orgs and Black issues...you'll see a pattern...control control control...disguised as aid...but actually disempowers blacks...monitors...will use black figureheads too. Liberal/Progressive Whites are the worst type of racist because it's hidden. So, yeah I'm conflicted a bit because I know our people need some relief, at the same time I feel a certain way about it because I know how this stuff works, but if there are any Black orgs that get money, that's cool and if it temporarily helps alleviate some pressure until we get it together, then I mean, it is what it is until then. (Sorry L, I'm coppin' that phrase and putting it on a t-shirt or something lol) "Stand up and Live."Anyway, sorry if this seems like a debbie downer post, but it's important to me and other Blacks that we really understand what the deal is, otherwise we'll keep going in circles.

Could you ask her about the "l've Got Life" video and if she plans on performing that song as a part of her set in the future?

It's been flagged a couple of times. Just my view; not need to respond with an essay.

They can't drive. 😂 plus stereotypes are generally ok to generalize if it's something common across the board with that entire population; you'll of course have outliers. Racism? Nah. Now, if blacks had the collective power to create and enforce policy/law, conditions etc that backs particular ideologies that produce inequitable conditions for one entire group, then yeah you could call me racist. Of course I wouldn't do that to anyone, but you get the idea. Ok so I've written the questions down.
