Again to outside eyes, the experience of black people in the USA is almost unique. Clinically, you have a population forcibly relocated and subsequently degraded in the worst way possible and then sytematically sabotaged. It's a completely different dynamic than a country been occupied. (Both white and black people in my mind have less claim to any land than the Native Americans).
Black banking initiatives are a great idea but I do feel there are risks involved associated with potential failure to diversify and hurdles associated with been new or not as established.
More than that though I don't see how effectivly a duel economy within a single country can function. All trade negotiations with other countries are decided by the government of the country. I would assume any trading done with Africa by black Americans would have to be equitable which would require approval from the USA and also the government of each African country. As uneasy a fact as it is the rulers of a great number of Aftican countries stand to loose personally from more equitable deals for their countries. It's quite a hill to climb.
More than likely the USA is doomed. Doomed by maltreatment of its own citizens and I just wonder who will benefit when the shit really hits the fan.
Maybe the USA should just split in three. 3 new countries totally free to forge their own paths. One run by black people. One run by non black people and one run by a mixture.

In closing I would offer the viewpoint that white supremacy is a real thing and it must be challenged. However I would posit that elite supremacy is the engine that purposely feeds ignorance, self interest and greed with aim of creating and maintaining divisions. In effect white supremacy and racism are symptoms of the malignancy of elite supremacy.

There is also an assumption that the solidarity felt by black Americans with black Africans runs both ways. Is there any metadata data on the opinions of African citizens on African Americans ?

Lol yeah I know some ppl don't like him or don't agree with him on some things. I think it's because a lot of times people misunderstand what he's saying. And I know about the controversy, so hopefully he's worked on that. Nonetheless, this video was the truth.
good video of Dr. Claud Anderson. I'm not a huge fan of 'Jason Black' but I love Dr. Claud Anderson lol

Yes ^^ heard about that. BLM "movement" is global. We've been getting a lot of international support from other brothers and sisters. It also allows them an opportunity to express themselves, that's about all it's good for lol. Nothing tangible will come from it. I recently read how the U.S. BLM campaign listed their "demands" to the GOVT: "The Black Lives Matter website says the platform of demands was created “to articulate and support the ambitions and work of Black people.” They are looking to the government to make reparations, they say, and to fix the systems and institutions that criminalize and target African-Americans."
This won't work the way they are hitting it, unless there is a significant amount of BLACK money pushing it. The govt will not willingly "fix" the system, as it's been working the way it was intended to work. You're "appealing" to a group of people who are ill-natured. Reparations will never happen, but hypothetically if it were to occur, money shouldn't be the only form of payment imo.
Personally, yelling BLM and "Hands up don't shoot" is begging. I don't go to these marches/protests at all because they are heavily infiltrated and it's multicultural (bad bad bad lol). I went to a couple to see and the whole damn time I was "smh" lol. Where I am, one sister who RIGHTFULLY asked why non-Blacks (specifically Whites) were there and why couldn't they protest in their areas as opposed to being amongst Blacks got ripped to shreds by both these cooning Blacks and racist Whites. I had to go talk to her and tell her she was right. You're always going to get push back when you stand in solidarity for JUST your own,as blacks. I keep up with these marches though. Good for exposure and awareness, that's it. Gotta go.

I got hipped to this by someone I know/ am acquainted with. I'm always on the look out for things like this. We all in this together and have our roles and I support where there is trust and feasibility, but there also has to be accountability. In order to propel our direction (I see some slight movement, it's there but it's moving slow, more of us are waking up lol. It's like ur trynna move a big ass boulder lol). These companies HAVE to engender job creation and expansion where boots hit the ground, feel me? You can have diversified projects/fields/areas etc, but the goal has to be the building of a strong economic base (a physical presence, not just virtual, <<but it's a good start I think). If you about creating a business and running off with the money..that's some bullshit and puts black folks back at square one. Accountability is a MUST where it concerns this. I take great umbrage with Black companies that take from the people and do nothing to BUILD the community, that is counter productive. www.ourown.lifeSaveSaveSaveSave
