Message from MS.LAURYN HILL: Hello All, I've been informed that I won't be able to enter the UK for a period of time due to my past legal situation. For this reason I have to cancel my concert on July 15th. Know that I was looking forward to performing in London this summer, and that I appreciate all of my fans and supporters both in London, and throughout the UK. I look forward to seeing you again as soon as I'm able to. Love and Respect, MLH
It's not unusual for one country to deny entry for a past legal issue, even after allowing entry in the past, after the legal issue arose. It seems random because it's based upon the country's immigration official that is being dealt with at the moment. Not saying this is what happened here, just saying that prior entry does not guarantee future entry.

Tickets went on sale 12 days ago - concert cancelled 5 days before show - new concert arranged in super short time including ticket sales for same date - am I missing something ? Double booking ?
How come there is an advert for an appearance in France on 15th July ?
Lauryn Hill screws over St-Tropez audience
Lauryn Hill of the Fugees is a fugitive from the stage.
The singer has canceled concerts in Tel Aviv, London and Lagos, Nigeria — and, most recently, a Wednesday gig in St-Tropez at the Citadelle fort overlooking the Riviera harbor.
Neither Hill nor the concert’s organizers gave any reason for her no-show before a sold-out audience, the local paper, Var-matin, reported.
That same night, she turned up at the exclusive VIP Room nightclub in town, grabbed a mike and put on an impromptu show for its wealthy patrons.
The club’s owner Jean Roch was thrilled, he told the local daily Nice Matin, “because she’s a legend . . . [and] might not come to St-Tropez anymore.” Or be invited back for that matter.
Moon too much space and people. Just a table and a mic and the queen was ready to Oh la la. lol
