She sounds INCREDIBLE! I'll admit that I was a tad bit nervous about how her voice would sound in the recorded context, but this recording has put any doubts I had all the way to rest! I can't wait for the full album!

Lauryn's album is going to be off the hook, I can all ready tell. She sounds great in that 'feeling good' clip. I cannot wait! Super excited!

WOW! That song has been done to death and it's a little breathier than I would have liked, but she sounds killer! That imposing voice and presence breathes new life into a classic standard. My only qualm is that I would have liked more Lalah Hathaway on the tracklist. That woman has quite possibly the best voice in the game right now and it's quite reminiscent of Nina's, i'm sure her song sounds great.

Like Wendy, I also felt it was a little more breathier, than I would have liked. However, Ms. Hill still has it vocally! Surfing the net, this song has gotten awesome reviews from many music publications. Even on Twitter, and in the comment sections of many music sites etc people are loving it.
Lauryn did a great job. Even though I wished "I Got Life" was released first lol

YESSS!!!! He is brilliant guitarist. So glad Ms Hill found HIM!!! The other guy is very good also; NO DISRESPECT; but as a musician, I can usually tell a virtuoso when I hear one! Masterful!

I love the way she extended the ending! I always hated that the sickness of the main riff (the horns) always felt like it ended waaay to soon! You get to hear it more here! And as I me tioned, that guitar solo....*sigh* Yep. Anyone who knows me knows I love Nina Simone. Almost named my only daughter after her. Lauryn singing this song so wonderfully is a special kind of heaven for me!

She posted a snippet of "I've Got Life" probably in reference of the shooting in Charleston, SC:
