Sara gives me "young Lauryn" vibes. John gives me "young Bob." Joshua seems the most confident of all the kids and he loves the stage. Maybe he is a super hybrid of Lauryn and Bob. ;-)

Maybe he is a super hybrid of Lauryn and Bob. ;-) It seems strange that Lauryn would even considering introducing Sara to an industry that has not change in it exploitation of artists. They still aren't being paid for their artistry (if you can call it art). Many have been used to promote this bad boy imagery only to incite the crowd and they retreat back to their places of comfort. When artist purport that they are against a systems that seemingly bent on taking away basic rights to usher in marital laws that will put us further into bondage I begin to question the motives of the artists talking against the government and seemingly in the bed with them at the same time. Further, the female artists with the most fan base are forced to dress like madams and using explicit lyrics to exploit young unsuspecting minds warped by the imagery being strategically placed before them. None have control of what they present because they have bowed to Baal and want the money, fame, and prestige at any cost. Nothing has changed for the better;the industry have continued to erode or distort any moral consciousness of young ladies that are being targeted with this madness. All design to appeal to the flesh. Sara has plenty of time as she grows up and learn to discern good from evil to make a conscious choice about going into an industry that have chewed up and spit out the best of them in the name of fame. May the light continue to shine on Sara and protect her against all that is evil. I pray she also is given an opportunity to enjoy the innocence of her youth without such exploitation;and 3:00 A.M. was still too late for an 8 yr old to be up and place in an adult setting.

true2u, If she were Nigerian and had school the next morning you might have a point. But since we know she lives in the eastern time zone and was on a summer trip with her mom, I think the better conclusion is that you have never been out of the country/experienced jet lag. Actually, it's quite possible you have never been out of your room.

I am sure that all parties involved knew that a flight to South Africa would take at least 12 hours and based on the concert date, jet lag would have been inevitable when you have travel long hours and then enter a 6 hours time zone difference. Sara boarded a flight to Africa at 4:00 AM in the morning to arrive to her destination of Nigeria at 4PM EST but 10 PM SAST. 30 hours later she is on stage at 3:20 AM SAST performing. I would say it’s a bit much from my view in my room. Makes me tired just thinking about it. But the greater question; For What??? The profanity in “That thing” should have a PG rating because of it lyrical content and that is for those 12 and older not 8.

Somebody save her!
For what? Perhaps to have fun, be happy, be with her mom, sing on stage. I don't know, I guess you'd have to ask her after you call CPS on her mom for letting her on stage when she should've had her tossing around in bed trying to force her biological clock to adjust to the new time zone. I hear Disney World stays open to 11pm and serves alcohol - better call CPS on them too. As for lyrical content - thankfully parental discretion doesn't equal "true2u's book of righteousness written from the shadows of her bedroom."
Sorry, I don't know why I even bothered.... lol

Unfortunately we don't have the power to turn back the hands of time. If this was the case Lauryn would have set a record for coming at 7:20 PM, but from the twitters, the Nigerians were not informed that this show would start EST so it was indeed 1:20 A.M. I think a better time could have been picked to have fun. lol

The lyrical content did not change. The sound as usual was distorted and muffled. The video has been spliced around the 1:34 mark and Sara voice could barely be heard and she sound hoarse. She also shook her head when asked did she want to sing the chorus. I don't quite know how the dancer Shakira fits in. She seemed to have been included in the show as Ms. HIll instruct the drummer to change the beat. I guess she represented the guys you know you betta watchout in the chorus.
