Selah is very photogenic. I could see her modeling, maybe commercials. As for music, some fans want her to be Lauryn so bad but she has not shown any signs of being musically gifted or even comfortable on stage. She will probably be like her father and end up doing something totally different from music. I feel Lauryn has unintentionally shown which of her children she believes will be music artists - Joshua and Sarah. Also her nephew. At least that is the impression I've gotten. I agree both with your name and your comment lol. the ones who start off lookin most likely to succeed aint always the ones who follow thru to the end. if Selah choose music she has all green lights to be a star. real stars succeed despite whether their parents or anyone believe in them. it's all bout whether she believe in herself and Selah seems to have a strong-minded, winning attitude. if she got the work ethic to go along with it there's no stopping her. she can sing good. Jay Z himself used to be a terrible live performer and he turned into the biggest star on earth. the guy from Maroon 5 used to be so shy he couldn't even face the audience when he performed, now he also one of the biggest stars. often the most naturally talented artists get bored with their craft and don't pursue it. that leaves the door open for who's most determined. don't count her out

When you walk in darkness it sad you can't see if it would save your life. People twist things intentionally to divert the truth. I never suggest the child should not pursue modeling. It was her association with that trashy magazine and she nor her mother should have promoted anything with such twisted and sick advertising. When you open your spirit up to satanic forces, I repeat you will not leave the same. Trust Me. Now Jeezy and Hova represent what rap should be and this is sad. Every rapper always trying to suggest that they are worshiping Jesus and it obvious they are serving the prince of darkness. You will know them by their fruit. When Jeezy said he sold his soul his soul to the devil he recanted. but that's probably the most truth he has told in all the rapping. None of this rap hova or jeezy promote God's kingdom. You wouldn't know talent if it hit you. You lead your sisters and brothers astray because they look up to you. You must be born again.
Come out of babylon my people. What does it profit a man to gain the world and lose your soul.

As we know, Lauryn also got booed but by 13 she had made her way to the Apollo stage and joined the fugees. People knew she was passionate about music. Like I said, some of you want it for Selah so bad (It seems perfect when she even looks just like her mom lol) but if you are honest Selah has shown even very little desire towards music. At least publically, and going on Lauryn's "subconscious" cues, im guessing it is the same privately. She won't have the work ethic for something she isn't passionate about. Her voice is similar to Lauryns but her mastery of it is not even the level of lauryn at 13. That should be a clue concerning passion. I think it took Rohan awhile to find himself outside of his fathers shadow and it will probably be the same for those of Lauryns kids that didn't inherit musical gifts. Of course they will try it because they are surrounded and the idea is alluring but after they see it's no cakewalk most will move on. of course these are just my thoughts and I know they mean nothing at the end of the day. they could all be little Lauryns and Bobs and i definitely wouldn't complain. Lol

Lol My husband spoke the final words on this topic, but thank you. Wait, Kanye wants to type my post: Listen, nobody's eager for Selah to sing, we just know that she CAN, so down-talking her musical pursuits before she's evinced any is insulting to the girl's potential. 95% of pop stardom is being pretty, so your words and life are meaningless in this thread. BLACK POWER!

To pursue that which you know exploit, demeans, control, make drug addicts, lose your identity, promote what its agenda is is worse then that magazine. Telvin Campbell, bow wow, chris brown, and all the others who come into this business with bright eyes only to end up looking like they have visited Satan himself is shameful. Steal your youth, exploit, cheats you out of your money, compromise your integrity, make slaves, mind control is worse than the parent that allowed that little young boy to be exploited with the cotton candy suit. Throwing them to wolves you expect them to be ate up. I mean where is the bargaining power when they control you, own your musical rights, never finishing producing albums for them they tie you up all your life. I remember MJ was so excited that he was finally going to be free; but death came to him before that happen. I think it really something to selling your soul You never can get out because this blood covenant. You cannot be saved unless you denounce and cut all ties with SAtan We keep trying to promote Jesus and satan. Light don't have fellowship with darkness.
Flee far from them is my advise unless her father promote and distribute her material or imagery, but from what I see he is being used by the same power to be even in the coffee business, marley cigarettes etc. It all comes from the same source. YOu can't walk with the Lord and run with SAtan.
Can I get some light on this board this morning Blind keep leading the blind at the end of the they where is this road to rap going to end up and what will it have accomplished once it get there? Now that a thought to remember.

OOB is an amazing lux Paris based coffee table magazine that features some of the top models in the business on their cover as well as showcasing black beauty in such a high fashion editorial way . Cool to see Selah doing her thing in the under the radar kind of way. Attachments:
