getting back to the to the song. Wyclef did Produce one of shakira songs...for a Radio edit .for her next single... that will be out this month....
but they also recorded a song...and its called "Our love is on fire" that will be in Fugees album. "who sings in the song??" well i dont know because i havent heard it and have poorly information now... just to say shakira's voice is very unique and will fit in any type of music.... shes done reggae...Regueaton.. plus she started as a rock artist and later lead into pop when she started singing in english... so most likely this track will be fully hip-hop. really fugees alike song.Ill bring more info once i get it...... ill also bring the track Wyclef remixed for shakira's next single...

People can`t tell them what to do,but some of "us" may turn them back because of that collaboration,so tell me:if they listen to themself, and maybe start loosing their TRUE fans...what do they get? This game ain`t hip-hop no more,we ar least need another hip-hop + pop combo, trust me,but ok,you will see....

Wow, if you turn your back on them just because of a simple collab, then you're not a REAL fan in the first place !

Wow,you`re right! I i was waiting for something like that for 10 years,i guess you ARE right!NO I`M KIDDING,i see that you would like me to tell you that i`m quiting, but Fugee good or bad track depends on wheter or not i`m gonna return to listening their old projects,i`m not quiting the music which i consider good....In that case of Fugee failure,it`s always good to come back to the Score,or individual projects from 97` 98` so i`m sorry, but i`m NOT QUITING!

,i see that you would like me to tell you that i`m quiting,! why would I want you to quit ? I'm a fugee fan, you're a fugee fan, we all want the same thing ( see the fugees be successful again). It's nothing personal.

from a recent article:
Posted on Sun, Jan. 29, 2006 Hip hop and konpa
Haitian-born hip hop artist Wyclef Jean, and Sweet Micky -- the Haitian konpa music king whom Jean declared an MVP on his Masquerade album -- usually runs in the tens of thousands. Friday night, several hundred Haitian-American professionals got to experience the jam session for free. Jean, who was in Miami working with Latin music sensation Shakira on a reggaeton-inspired single, joined Sweet Micky on stage in a ballroom at the James L. Knight Center. The konpa artist was headlining a reception to kick off a three-day conference by the Haitian-American Leadership Organization, a newly formed group hoping to promote a different kind of image of Haitians by tapping Haitian-American professionals to become more involved in their community. ''This is important with what we are trying to do with the next phase of Haiti,'' Jean told The Miami Herald. He is becoming increasingly involved with the issues affecting his troubled Caribbean homeland. Wearing a black T-shirt declaring ''We are all Refugees,'' the star of one of the biggest-selling hip-hop acts ever, the Fugees, came to the reception at the invitation of Sweet Micky, who donated his talent to the affair. Before his arrival he was at North Miami's Hit Factory recording studio with Shakira and at Little Haiti's Sant La Neighborhood Center, where he spent the afternoon hanging out with executive director Gepsie Metellus. ''Micky is my political advisor, and he tells me what to say . . . so there will be no discussions of [former Haitian President Jean-Bertrand] Aristide on the podium tonight,'' Jean told the crowd, to the sound of laughter. Then addressing the crowd in Haitian-Creole, he said, ``If we want to advance [as Haitians] we need to have HALO. . . . If they want the Haitian vote, we are the ones they are going to have to come to.'' During the evening, Jean posed for photos, signed autographs and showed off his best konpa moves as Micky worked the crowd into a frenzy. Jean even showed an admiring group of youngsters his latest flips and hip hop moves before taking the guitar and microphone to belt out Bob Marley's No Woman No Cry, and 911, the duet he made with soul singer Mary J. Blige. -- JACQUELINE CHARLES
this article sounds like it is really just WYCLEF producing a song for SHAKIRA. no word of a collabo with the fugees here!
