But... What's the interest?! When she toured last year to prepare her comeback, playing her old songs (with new arrangements) was really meaningful because we thought a new album would have followed.... But now... ?! Can we make a comeback without something new? Is it really a comeback? because she can. miseducation will never become boring to people. and people want to see her. i don't think the tour was supposed to be a preparation for a comeback. (if by comeback you mean releasing new music). she's maybe just doing it cause she feels like doing it, maybe her passion for music and performing has returned, maybe she needs funds, or money..who knows. imo, she'll I'm starting to lose hope. (or EP, or something like that). i just don't see it happening anytime in future. in 2011 there were many performance but nothing ..not new song I'm starting to lose hope maybe I'm starting to lose hope :-[ ...her voice withs guitare would do wonders !! I can not understand as a fan I need more than new arrangements

Hoy! You're frighten me!! So why does she records songs and doesn't release it?? (according to B&S and others people) That doesn't make sense to me.... I can't understand this way of doing things only by the feelings you have at the moment... That's why I'm not an artist probably ::) I've not enough self confidence to not compromise myslef and not try to satisfy the public ...
:D Aw Ms. Hill, I hate you for your determination and I love you for your determination

I don't think Lauryn has some master plan, she performs because she enjoys it and gets paid to do it. She makes new arrangements so she doesn't get bored. Maybe she has recorded new songs recently or maybe she hasn't. Thing is she has put a lot of work into these shows, we know that as fact as we have seen rehearsals etc... and after every show she gets a shit review, this would put me off wanting to release something personal anyway.... she may appear strong, but any artist finds it hard to accept criticism that is in noway positive

She seems to know when the show is bad like in jamaica.

I haven't seen any such improvements at all...in fact, I've only seen her regress. Last year it was the late timing, and bizarre musical arrangents - now, much hasn't changed, except for the added sound board issues and diminished vocals...and, cannot forget her constantly heckling the band. She needs to perform a new song at one of these concerts, and if the critics diss that too, then so be it, but she will never know nor can she be sure of that until she actually shares it. She can remix and perpetuate old songs for the rest of her life, and do I enjoy some of the new arrangements, and I'm glad that she is expressing her creativity in rather non-traditional, bold ways, but how long does she plan to keep this up??? I think if she consistently showed up on time, with a solid band and sound check, with satisfying versions of her songs, critics and fans alike would still find something to complain about - and the root cause of it all: no new music.

Essence that is so true, Lauryn needs to create new music to shut down all these haters. Yes, this is the answer for some but not all. Now i know her song on the Unplugged album (I Find it Hard To Say (Rebel)) was not a personal song, but written to express a situation at the time, but i can't help to think that Lauryn lives by those words. I feel like every bad review/report on her shows takes her further away from the idea of returning to the recording industry. I think by now we should all know that Lauryn doesn't plan too far ahead, so we shouldn't think far ahead. For now it's shows, so we'll take them. It's better than nothing isn't it?
