I voted for Clef because for me he is the best in the group,but for solo carier I can't decide which member is the best,because Clef released 5,and L and Pras 2 albums,who knows what will happen in the future

yclef r u guys 4 real  dnt get me wrong the guys is iite but thats it.... jus iite, an average mc , personally Ls obtains my propz as her rhyming flows off the hook and she talks sense wid it and uses alot more creativity. she has a unique style about her. With yclef he often sounds like his influences and imitates them. I give him props for workin with others and bringing artist out e.g Destiny Child NO,NO,NO. Also, his writing skills, guitar skills for whitney Houston song my love is ur love and 911 mary J was heavy. But when u compare him with lauryn she obviously shines and stands out more. not jus becuz shes a female who can rap but one that can rap better than the 2 men on the cd (and most men out their) e.g fu gel la, take it easy oMg that flow was sic, and in lost ones she cussed yclef using one rhyming word. 4 me also, most not all, but most of yclef songs are just songs for the current time however lauryns are classics that u can play 4 years and past on to generations and thats the difference. Sorry for being harsh but the truth has to be said period ? wat do u think? |

Please read the question again "Who is the best in Fugees?"(who is the best in group) not solo work,(that means only Blunted and The Score albums)for me Clef is the best in Fugees,I mean remember Blunted album,Clef dominates in album,The Score,I agree that because of great chorus that L sings and Killing me softly song Fugees became famous but you can't look just The Score album,you have to look Blunted album too,for me Clef is the best mc in Fugees,maybe L have better lyrics in some songs,but the way that Clef raps is why he gets my vote,maybe not in The Score but in Blunted,no one can rap like that,and remember L didn't know to rap before Fugees,Fugees are hip-hop group you can't just look at singin' you must look at the rappin' |

clef is the best one, not just cause he is the true mc in blunted, with that show of vocal variations and matizes with the voice, we waht to look that he's the mastermind beahind the score alongside jerry, and we all know what the score means in the hip hop world.
and u just have to see the vhs (videotape) the score, to get the level that clef posses inside the fugges, yes lauryn is greatm she's fenomenal, she's the voice of the fugges, but clef is the soul.

he is energetic (but he is a man and must be the energy of the group, so?) to tell the truth i see no less energy and power in L but at the same time i see that she is much more soulful than clef. and i see it even not from her lyrics (tho it is very important) i see it FROM THE WAY OF HER SINGING.
