sorry, I answer a question in another topic. so I was in Lucca thursday night, but I'm trying to rebuild the set list, 'cause there are some song that I don't know. there's someone that knows where I could find the set list? there's someone that was in Lucca last night?
The show begins at 22,30 pm, one hour late as other said, and the first song was that thing, that contains a piece of 1thing of amerie. the sound was a little confused, and the voice not perfect (yet), but the groove was right. For the second song Lauryn takes an acoustic guitar, and present the song as a new song. I understand the word "worth" inside. The song has a little flamenco flavour, mixed with a funky groove. Next was lost ones, that contains a piece, it seems to me, of in da club by 50cent. It sounds good. But with the miseducation the voice begins brilliant, more warm and the version sounds pretty good. just want you around starts with a "scat" of lauryn, and it sounds very funky; next was to zion, that contains iron zion lion of bob marley. the sweetest thing sounds not exactly r'n'b but better, very soul. next was final hour, very hip hop, big beat, the square moves all togheter. Lauryn re-takes the guitar and plays a song that I don't know, in which she sings "is this reality.....my love is a beautiful love....is a sacred love" with her heart by the hands, it's deeper, touching moment. The beat restart with the next, ready or not, in a brilliant version; then, another hip hop song that start with the words "many money". Next fu-gee-la, and everybody dance in the square. Just like water, and it's another guitar-time. Lauryn stop the people that clappin' hands, asking silence. The song was beautiful, syncopated, and in the final the band enter; the song ends in a almost gospel style. Another semi-acoustic song (it seems to me the mystery of iniquity, but I'm not sure; I understood the words "shakin me down"), and then ex-factor, re-arranged in the vocal parts; sounds very very good, with a reggae part at the end. Then killing me softly, that sounds too much pop, levigate, maybe the worst thing of the show. Next, another big version of another great song, everything is everything. Lauryn said goodbye, people called up, it's midnight, but there's an encore, only one song, very funky in a good version. I don't understand what was, I understood the words "everybody knows". Show is off. Lauryn is back

thanks for sharing this recview! "is this reality.....my love is a beautiful love....is a sacred love"this song is a BRAND NEW one! I belive it is called "Sacred Love" or maybe "My Love Is" - She played a fantastic acoustic version of that song in Stuttgart as well - her voice was amazing on that one! "shakin me down"this is a new song as well (at least it is not released on any CD yet) and it is called "Damnable Heresies" "everybody knows"this could be a version of "Freedom Time" from her MTV Unplugged CD which was released back in 2002

Ok, this is the complete review in italian. If someone of us have a good translation program...
Lauryn Hill, 14/7/2005, Lucca, Summer Festival, Piazza Napoleone
Fa caldissimo. Arriva il momento Fugees: Ready Or Not, bella versione, corposa, e Fu-gee-la. Ben Harper, IMPARA!!
