Okay, NOW I understand why she acted like that with the journalist !!! www.highbeam.com/doc.aspx?DOCID=1P1:118236057&ctrlInfo=Round20%3AMode20b%3ADocG%3AResult&ao=Read this article :The Fugees strike a new chord Byline: Faridul Anwar Farinordin Edition: Main/Lifestyle AFTER an eight-year hiatus, The Fugees is back with a plan to release a new album this year. FARIDUL ANWAR FARINORDIN met the hip- hop group in France recently. The much-celebrated lead singer from The Fugees, Grammy-award winner Lauryn Hill, didn't hide the fact that she dislikes interviews. After claiming that she has been misquoted in some articles not so long ago, the singer/ songwriter has been shying away from Pressmen. It happened during the group's Press conference at the 27th Trans Musicales music festival in Rennes, France, attended by the other two members, acclaimed songwriters/ producers Pras Michael and Wyclef Jean

Were the press ever that harsh to Lauryn though? Forgive me if I am wrong because I was fairly young when she was popular but if you look at someone like Britney Spears they get completely hounded. She can't even come out of her house without it being published in a newspaper or magazine. I'm a huge of Lauryn but to me she seems to consider herself the biggest victim.
Love them or hate them, Lauryn needs the media. It's the most effective way of speaking out and influencing people.
